Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 12814
Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would raid an enemy land, he would give a quarter (of the spoils) (to the soldiers). And when he would return (from the raid), he would give the people a third (of the spoils). And he (the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked the (excessive accumulation of) spoils of war. He said: The strong believer is better than the weak believer, (however) there is good for everyone.

(١٢٨١٤) حضرت عبادہ بن صامت (رض) کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب دشمن کی زمین میں حملہ کرتے تو ربع دیتے تھے اور جب واپس آتے تو لوگوں کو ثلث دیتے تھے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) غنیمتوں کو ناپسند کرتے تھے اور کہتے تھے : قوی مومن کمزوروں پر لوٹا دیں۔
Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (RA) kehte hain ki Rasool Allah (SAW) jab dushman ki zameen mein hamla karte to ruba dete thay aur jab wapas aate to logon ko suls dete thay aur aap (SAW) ghanimaton ko napasand karte thay aur kehte thay: qawi momin kamzoron par loota den.
١٢٨١٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ هُوَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ،عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ:كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَغَارَ فِي أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ نَفَّلَ الرُّبُعَ، وَإِذَا أَقْبَلَ رَاجِعًا وَكَلَّ النَّاسُ نَفَّلَ الثُّلُثَ،وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ الْأَنْفَالَ وَيَقُولُ:" لِيَرُدَّ قَوِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى ضَعِيفِهِمْ "١٢٨١٥ -وَقَدْ قِيلَ:عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ السِّجْزِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَهْضَمٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَبَعْضِ مَعْنَاهُ، وَحَدِيثُ الْفَزَارِيِّ أَتَمُّ
