Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 13300
Ata' bin Yasar narrated that he met Abdullah bin Amr bin As and said to him, "Tell me about the qualities of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that are mentioned in the Torah." He said, "Yes, some of the qualities of yours (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that are in the Quran are also mentioned in the Torah, meaning, 'O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good tidings, a warner, and one who calls to Allah by His permission, and an illuminating lamp.' I have named you 'the one who relies on Allah.' You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) are neither ill-mannered nor harsh-hearted, nor do you shout in the marketplaces, nor do you return evil for evil, but rather you pardon and forgive. And I will not cause you to die until I have straightened the crooked through you, and they say, 'There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah.' And through you, I will grant sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, and hearts to the heedless.'" Ata' said, "After that, I met Ka'b al-Ahbar, and I asked him the same question. He gave me the same answer, with not a single letter different, except for the words: 'Our eyes are blind, our hearts are veiled, and our ears are deaf.'"

(١٣٣٠٠) عطاء بن یسار فرماتے ہیں کہ میں عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص سے ملا، میں نے اس کو کہا کہ جو توراۃ میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اوصاف ذکر ہوئے ہیں مجھے اس کی خبر دو ۔ اس نے کہا : ہاں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی جو صفات قرآن میں ہیں، ان میں سے بعض صفات توراۃ میں ذکر کی گئی ہیں، یعنی اے نبی ! ہم نے آپ کو گواہ بنا کر خوشخبری دینے والا بنا کر بھیجا اور ڈرانے والا اور ان پڑھوں کو اس بات کی ترغیب دلانے والا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) میرے بندے اور میرے رسول ہیں۔ میں نے آپ کا نام اللہ پر توکل کرنے والا رکھا ہے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نہ تو برے اخلاق والے ہیں اور نہ ہی سخت طبیعت والے ہیں اور نہ ہی بازار میں چیخ چیخ کر بولنے والے ہیں اور نہ ہی برائی کا بدلہ برائی سے دیتے ہیں، بلکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تو درگزر کرتے اور معاف کرتے ہیں۔ میں آپ کو ہرگز فوت نہیں کروں گا، یہاں تک کہ ٹیڑھے سیدھے کھڑے ہوجائیں اور وہ یہ کہہ دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اور میں تیرے ذریعے اندھوں کو آنکھیں دوں گا، بہروں کو کان اور غافل دلوں کو دل عطا کروں گا۔ عطاء کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے بعد میں کعب عالم سے ملا، میں نے ان سے بھی یہی سوال کیا تو انھوں نے بھی یہی جواب دیا اور ایک حرف کا بھی فرق نہیں آیا، سوائے ان الفاظ کہ أَعْیُنًا عُمُومَی وَقُلُوبًا غُلُوفَی وَآذَانًا صُمُومَی۔ کہ ہمارے آنکھیں اندھی ہیں، دل پردے میں ہیں اور کانوں میں ڈاٹ ہے۔
13300 Ata bin Yasar farmate hain keh main Abdullah bin Amro bin Aas se mila, maine is ko kaha keh jo Torait mein Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) ke ausaf zikar hue hain mujhe is ki khabar do. Is ne kaha: Haan aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) ki jo sifat Quran mein hain, un mein se baaz sifat Torait mein zikar ki gai hain, yani aye Nabi! Hum ne aap ko gawah bana kar khushkhabri dene wala bana kar bheja aur darane wala aur un parhon ko is baat ki targhib dilane wala keh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) mere bande aur mere Rasool hain. Maine aap ka naam Allah per توکل karne wala rakha hai, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) na to bure akhlaq wale hain aur na hi sakht tabiyat wale hain aur na hi bazaar mein cheekh cheekh kar bolne wale hain aur na hi burai ka badla burai se dete hain, balkeh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) to darguzar karte aur maaf karte hain. Main aap ko hargiz faut nahin karunga, yahan tak keh terhe sedhe kharre hojain aur wo yeh keh dein keh Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin hai aur main tere zariye andhon ko aankhen dun ga, bahron ko kaan aur ghafil dilon ko dil ata karun ga. Ata kehte hain keh is ke baad main Kab-e-Alam se mila, main ne un se bhi yehi sawal kiya to unhon ne bhi yehi jawab diya aur ek harf ka bhi farq nahin aaya, siwaye in alfaz keh A'ayunan Umoomi Wa Qulooban Ghulufi Wa Azanan Sumoom. Keh humare aankhen andhi hain, dil parde mein hain aur kaanon mein daat hai.
١٣٣٠٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْبَزَّازُ دُرُسْتَ، ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ،عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ:لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا،فَقُلْتُ لَهُ:أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ صِفَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ،فَقَالَ:" أَجَلْ وَاللهِ إِنَّهُ لَمَوْصُوفٌ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ بِبَعْضِ صِفَتِهِ فِي الْفُرْقَانِ{يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا}[الأحزاب: ٤٥]، وَحِرْزًا لِلْأُمِّيِّينَ أَنْتَ عَبْدِي وَرَسُولِي سَمَّيْتُكَ "الْمُتَوَكِّلَ لَيْسَ بِفَظٍّ، وَلَا غَلِيظٍ، وَلَا صَخَّابٍ بِالْأَسْوَاقِ، وَلَا يَدْفَعُ السَّيِّئَةَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ، وَلَكِنْ يَعْفُو وَيَغْفِرُ، وَلَنْ أَقْبِضَهُ حَتَّى أُقِيمَ بِهِ الْمِلَّةَ الْعَوْجَاءَ، وَأَنْ يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَفْتَحَ بِهِ أَعْيُنًا عُمْيًا وَآذَانًا صُمًّا وَقُلُوبًا غُلْفًا" قَالَ عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ كَعْبَ الْحَبْرَ،فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَمَا اخْتَلَفَا فِي حَرْفٍ إِلَّا أَنَّ كَعْبًا يَقُولُ:أَعْيُنًا عَمَوِيًّا وَقُلُوبًا غُلُوفًا وَآذَانًا صُمُومًا "رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سَلْمَانَ
