Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1462
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not obligatory upon you to perform Ghusl (ritual bath) after washing the deceased. When you wash him, he is a Muslim believer, pure, and a Muslim is not impure. It is sufficient for you to wash your hands."

(١٤٦٢) سیدنا ابن عباس (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” میت کو غسل دینے سے تم پر غسل واجب نہیں ہے، جب تم ان کو غسل دو ، وہ مسلمان مؤمن پاک ہے اور مسلمان ناپاک نہیں ہوتا، تم کو کافی ہے کہ اپنے ہاتھوں کو دھوؤ۔
(1462) Sayidna Ibn Abbas (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Mait ko ghusl dene se tum par ghusl wajib nahin hai, jab tum un ko ghusl do, woh musalman momin pak hai aur musalman napak nahin hota, tum ko kafi hai ke apne hathon ko dhoo.
١٤٦٢ - أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي غُسْلِ مَيِّتِكُمْ غُسْلٌ إِذَا غَسَّلْتُمُوهُ إِنَّهُ مُسْلِمٌ مُؤْمِنٌ طَاهِرٌ وَإِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لَيْسَ بِنَجَسٍ فَحَسْبُكُمْ أَنْ تَغْسِلُوا أَيْدِيكُمْ "هَذَا ضَعِيفٌ وَالْحَمْلُ فِيهِ عَلَى أَبِي شَيْبَةَ كَمَا أَظُنُّ، وَرَوى بَعْضَهُ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَرْفُوعًا
