Abu Imran al-Jawni said: I said to Jundab: Ibn al-Zubayr took a pledge of allegiance from me that I would fight whoever fights him. He is calling me to fight the people of Syria. He said: Pay the ransom. I said: They have refused and said: Only that I fight them. So he said: By Allah, the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not lie. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A person will come on the Day of Resurrection and will grab the hand of another man and say: O Allah! He killed me. Allah will ask: Why? He will say: So that the kingdom of so-and-so would be established.

(١٦٨٠٣) ابو عمران جونی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے جندب کو کہا : ابن زبیر نے مجھ سے بیعت کی تھی کہ جو اس سے لڑے گا میں اس سے لڑوں۔ وہ مجھے اہل شام سے لڑنے کے لیے بلا رہے ہیں۔ فرمایا : فدیہ دے دو ۔ میں نے کہا : انھوں نے انکار کردیا اور کہا ہے : صرف یہی ہے کہ میں ان سے لڑوں تو فرمایا : واللہ اللہ کے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے جھوٹ نہیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قیامت کے دن بندہ آئے گا اور دوسرے آدمی کا ہاتھ تھامے ہوگا کہے گا : اے اللہ ! اس نے مجھے قتل کیا ۔ اللہ پوچھیں گے : کیوں ؟ وہ کہے گا : تاکہ فلاں کی بادشاہت قائم ہو۔
(16803) Abu Imran Joni kahte hain ki maine Jundab ko kaha: Ibn Zubair ne mujh se bai't ki thi ki jo us se lare ga main us se ladun. Wo mujhe ahl Sham se ladne ke liye bula rahe hain. Farmaya: Fidya de do. Maine kaha: Unhon ne inkar kar diya aur kaha hai: Sirf yahi hai ki main un se ladun to farmaya: Wallahi Allah ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne jhoot nahin. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Qayamat ke din banda aaye ga aur dusre aadmi ka hath thame hoga kahe ga: Aye Allah! Is ne mujhe qatal kiya. Allah puchein ge: Kyon? Wo kahe ga: Taake falan ki badshahat qaem ho.
١٦٨٠٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ⦗٣٣٢⦘ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ،قَالَ:قُلْتُ لِجُنْدُبٍ: إِنَّ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخَذَ بَيْعَتِي عَلَى أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ، وَأُحَارِبَ مَنْ حَارَبَ، وَإِنَّهُ يَدْعُونِي إِلَى قِتَالِ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ،قَالَ:افْتَدِهِ بِمَالِكَ،قَالَ:قُلْتُ: إِنَّهُمْ أَبَوْا إِلَّا أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ مَعَهُمْ،قَالَ:حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، وَاللهِ مَا كَذَبَنِي،أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" يَجِيءُ الْعَبْدُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَقَدْ تَعَلَّقَ بِالرَّجُلِ فَيَقُولُ: أَيْ رَبِّ قَتَلَنِي هَذَا "قَالَ:" فَيَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: عَلَى مَا قَتَلْتَ هَذَا؟فَيَقُولُ:قَتَلْتُهُ عَلَى مُلْكِ فُلَانٍ "
