Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he smelled a scent from him. He asked: "What is this scent?" He said: "It is the scent of Nabidh." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bring it to me." So the Nabidh was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and it was very strong, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mixed water in it and said: "When your drink becomes strong, mix water in it like this."

(١٧٤٤٤) ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا تو اس سے آپ نے بو محسوس کی تو آپ نے پوچھا : یہ بوکیسی ؟ اس نے کہا : نبیذ کی ہے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میرے پاس لاؤ ۔ وہ نبیذ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لایا گیا تو وہ بہت سخت تھا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس میں پانی ملا لیا اور فرمایا : جب تمہارا مشروب سخت ہوجائے تو اس طرح اس میں پانی ملا لیا کرو۔
Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain ki ek shakhs Nabi (SAW) ke paas aaya to us se aap ne boo mehsoos ki to aap ne poocha : yeh bookisi ? Us ne kaha : nabiz ki hai to aap (SAW) ne farmaya : mere paas lao . Woh nabiz aap (SAW) ke paas laya gaya to woh bahut sakht tha to aap (SAW) ne us mein pani mila liya aur farmaya : jab tumhara mashroob sakht hojae to is tarah us mein pani mila liya karo.
١٧٤٤٤ - وَأَمَّا الْحَدِيثُ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ ابْنُ أَخِي الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،قَالَ:وَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ رِيحَ نَبِيذٍ،فَقَالَ:" مَا هَذِهِ الرِّيحُ؟ "
