Chapter on feeding the poor, the satisfied, and the needy, and what has been mentioned about their interpretation
باب إطعام البائس الفقير وإطعام القانع والمعتر، وما جاء في تفسيرهم
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19229
Abu Najeh narrates from Mujahid regarding Allah's saying "{So eat thereof and feed the miserable and needy.}" [Al-Hajj 28] that "Al-Baees" is the one who asks with his hand, and "Al-Qani'" is the one who desires the meat of the sacrifice of his neighbor. "Al-Mu'tar" is the one who comes to you himself but does not express his need.

(١٩٢٢٩) ابو نجیح حضرت مجاہد سے اللہ کے اس قول { فَکُلُوْا مِنْھَا وَ اَطْعِمُوا الْبَآئِسَ الْفَقِیْرَ ۔ } [الحج ٢٨] کے بارے میں فرماتے ہیں کہ ” البائس “ ایسا شخص ہے کہ جب بھی سوال کرے تو اپنے ہاتھ سے اور ” القانع “ جو اپنے پڑوسی کی قربانی کے گوشت کا لالچ رکھے۔ ” المعتر “ جو خود تو آپ کے پاس آجاتا ہے لیکن اپنی ضرورت پیش نہیں کرتا۔
19229 Abu Najeh Hazrat Mujahid se Allah ke is qaul {fa kulo minha wa at'imu al-ba'isa al-faqira} [al-Hajj 28] ke bare mein farmate hain ki "al-ba'is" aisa shakhs hai ki jab bhi sawal kare to apne hath se aur "al-qana'" jo apne padosi ki qurbani ke gosht ka lalach rakhe. "al-mu'tarr" jo khud to aap ke pass aata hai lekin apni zaroorat pesh nahin karta.
