Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19345
Mukhnif bin Salim Ghamidi reported that we were standing with the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the plain of Arafat. He (the Prophet) said: “O people! For every household there is a sacrifice every year and an ‘Atirah. Do you know what ‘Atirah is? It is an animal which you slaughter in the month of Rajab.”

(١٩٣٤٥) مخنف بن سلیم غامدی فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ میدانِ عرفات میں وقوف کرتے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے لوگو ! سال میں ہر گھر والے پر قربانی اور عتیرہ ہے، عتیرہ جانتے ہو کیا ہوتا ہے ؟ یہ وہ جانور جس کو تم ماہ رجب میں ذبح کرتے ہو۔
(19345) Mukhnaf bin Saleem Ghamedi farmate hain ki hum Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath maidan e arafaat mein waquf karte to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye logo! Saal mein har ghar wale par qurbani aur atira hai, atira jante ho kya hota hai? Yeh woh janwar jis ko tum mah e rajab mein zabah karte ho.
١٩٣٤٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، ثنا رَوْحٌ، ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، ثنا أَبُو رَمْلَةَ، عَنْ مِخْنَفِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ،قَالَ:كُنَّا وُقُوفًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:" يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَى كُلِّ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ أُضْحِيَّةٌ وَعَتِيرَةٌ، هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الْعَتِيرَةُ؟ هِيَ الَّتِي تُسَمَّى الرَّجَبِيَّةَ "
