Jabir bin Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If there was any healing in your medicines, then it would be in cupping, drinking honey, and cauterization, but I do not like to be cauterized."

(١٩٥٤٢) حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر تمہاری دواؤں میں شفاء ہوتی تو حجام کی سینگی، شہد پینے اور آگ سے داغنے میں ہوتی۔ لیکن میں داغ دینا پسند نہیں کرتا۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Agar tumhari dwaon mein shifa hoti to hijaam ki singi, shehad pine aur aag se daghne mein hoti. Lekin mein dagh dena pasand nahin karta.
١٩٥٤٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا الْبَاغَنْدِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْغَسِيلِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الرَّاهِبِ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ،قَالَ:سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَدْوِيَتِكُمْ خَيْرٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ الْحِجَامَةِ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ لَذْعَةٍ بِنَارٍ، وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ ". رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ
