Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 20598
Abdullah narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "The best people are those of my time, then those who follow them, then those who follow them." The narrator says: "I do not know whether he said the third or fourth time." Then he said: "After them will come people who will swear oaths before giving testimony and give testimony before being asked to swear oaths."

(٢٠٥٩٨) حضرت عبداللہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بہترین لوگ میرے زمانہ کے ہیں، پھر جو ان کے ساتھ ملیں، پھر جو ان کے ساتھ ملیں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : مجھے معلوم نہیں تیسری یا چوتھی مرتبہ بھی کہا۔ پھر ان کے بعد لوگ آئیں گے، ان کی گواہی قسم سے سبقت لے جائے گی اور قسم گواہی سے سبقت لے جائے گی۔
Hazrat Abdullah Nabi (SAW) se naqal farmate hain ki aap (SAW) ne farmaya : behtarin log mere zamane ke hain, phir jo un ke sath milen, phir jo un ke sath milen. Rawi kehte hain : mujhe maloom nahin teesri ya chauthi martaba bhi kaha. Phir un ke baad log aayenge, un ki gawahi qasam se sabaqat le jayegi aur qasam gawahi se sabaqat le jayegi.
٢٠٥٩٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ، وَأَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْأُمَوِيُّ، وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْقَنْطَرِيُّ،وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ قَالُوا:ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّمَّانُ، ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيْدَةَ،قَالَ:قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ "،قَالَ:وَلَا أَدْرِي قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ،أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ:" ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُ بَعْدَهُمْ خَلْفٌ يَسْبِقُ شَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ يَمِينَهُ، وَيَمِينُهُ شَهَادَتَهُ "رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَزْهَرَ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
