Chapter: Loyalty (wala) to the nearest in relation to the manumitted slave, and he is the closest in relation to him after the manumitter's death.
باب: الولاء للكبر من عصبة المعتق، وهو الأقرب فالأقرب منهم بالمعتق، إذا كان قد مات المعتق.

Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 21501
Zahri narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A freed slave is a religious brother and a blessing. The one who has the most right to inherit from him is the closest relative of the one who freed him."

(٢١٥٠١) زہری فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : آزاد کردہ غلام دینی بھائی ہے اور نعمت ہے۔ لوگوں میں سے سب سے زیادہ وراثت کا حق دار وہ ہے آزاد کرنے والے کا قریبی ہے۔
(21501) Zehri farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Azad karda ghulam deeni bhai hai aur naimat hai. Logon mein se sab se ziada wirasat ka haqdar wo hai azad karne wale ka qareebi hai.
٢١٥٠١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،قَالَ:قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي: مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ نَصْرٍ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ ⦗٥١٢⦘ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيِّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ،قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْمَوْلَى أَخٌ فِي الدِّينِ، وَنِعْمَةٌ، وَأَحَقُّ النَّاسِ بِمِيرَاثِهِ أَقْرَبُهُمْ مِنَ الْمُعْتِقِ "
