Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2173

(2173) (a) It is narrated on the authority of Abu Yunus, the freed slave of the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aisha, that she (may Allah be pleased with her) commanded me to write a Mushaf (copy of the Quran) for her. Then she said, "When you reach this verse, inform me: { حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی } (Al-Baqarah: 238) “Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawat (the prayers) especially the middle Salat (the prayer).” When I reached that point, I informed her, so she made me write: { حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی وَصَلاَۃِ الْعَصْرِ وَ قُوْمُوْا لِلّٰہِ قٰنِتِیْنَ } “Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawat (the prayers) especially the middle Salat (the prayer) and the ‘Asr (afternoon) prayer and stand before Allah with obedience." Aisha said, "I heard this from the Messenger of Allah." (b) This is evidence that the ‘Asr (afternoon) prayer is separate and the middle prayer is separate.

(٢١٧٣) (ا) ام المومنین سیدہ عائشہ کے آزاد کردہ غلام ابو یونس سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (رض) نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں ان کے لیے ایک مصحف لکھوں۔ پھر فرمانے لگیں کہ جب تم اس آیت پر پہنچو تو مجھے بتانا { حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی } (البقرۃ : ٢٣٨) ” نمازوں کی حفاظت کرو خصوصاً درمیانی نماز کی “۔ جب میں اس مقام پر پہنچا تو میں نے انھیں بتایا تو انھوں نے مجھے لکھوایا :{ حٰفِظُوْا عَلَی الصَّلَوٰتِ وَ الصَّلٰوۃِ الْوُسْطٰی وَصَلاَۃِ الْعَصْرِ وَ قُوْمُوْا لِلّٰہِ قٰنِتِیْنَ } نمازوں کی حفاظت کرو خصوصاً درمیانی نماز کی اور عصر کی نماز کی بھی اور اللہ کے لیے فرمان بردار ہو کر کھڑے ہوجاؤ۔ عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے یہ رسول اللہ سے سنا ہے۔ (ب) اس میں دلیل ہے کہ عصر کی نماز الگ ہے اور درمیانی نماز الگ۔

2173 a Umm ul Momineen Sayyida Ayesha ke azad kardah ghulam Abu Younus se riwayat hai ke aap raz ne mujhe hukm diya ke mein un ke liye ek mushaf likhun phir farmane lagi ke jab tum is ayat par pahuncho to mujhe batana {Haafi'zoo 'Alas Salaati Was Salaatil Wusta} (Al Baqarah 238) "Namazon ki hifazat karo khusoosan darmiyani namaz ki" Jab mein is maqam par pahuncha to mein ne unhen bataya to unhon ne mujhe likhvaya {Haafi'zoo 'Alas Salaati Was Salaatil Wusta Was Salaatil Asr Wa Qoomoo Lillaahi Qaniteen} Namazon ki hifazat karo khusoosan darmiyani namaz ki aur Asr ki namaz ki bhi aur Allah ke liye farman bardar ho kar kharay ho jao Ayesha farmati hain ke mein ne ye Rasulullah se suna hai b Is mein daleel hai ke Asr ki namaz alag hai aur darmiyani namaz alag

٢١٧٣ -بِمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ:قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ،عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:أَمَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا أَنْ أَكْتُبَ لَهَا مُصْحَفًا ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: إِذَا بَلَغَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ فَآذِنِّي{حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى}[البقرة: ٢٣٨]فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتُهَا آذَنْتُهَا فَأَمْلَتْ عَلَيَّ" حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ وَقُومُوا للَّهِ قَانِتِينَ "وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى وَفِيهِ دَلَالَةٌ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوُسْطَى غَيْرُ الْعَصْرِ
