Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2239
Narrated Ibn `Umar: Once the people offered the Fajr prayer at Quba. In the meantime, a man came to them and said, "Last night the Divine Inspiration was revealed to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he has been ordered to face the Ka`ba (during prayers). So turn your faces towards it." At that time their faces were towards Sham (Syria) so they turned towards the Ka`ba (in their prayer).

(٢٢٣٩) سیدنا ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دفعہ لوگ مسجد قبا میں نماز فجر ادا کر رہے تھے۔ اتنے میں ان کے پاس ایک شخص آیا۔ اس نے کہا : گزشتہ روز رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر قرآن نازل کیا گیا اور آپ کو حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ کعبہ کی طرف منہ کر کے نماز پڑھیں، لہٰذا قبلہ رخ ہوجاؤ۔ ان کے چہرے شام کی طرف تھے چنانچہ وہ (حالت نماز میں ہی) کعبہ کی طرف پھرگئے۔
2239 Saidna Ibn Umar (RA) se riwayat hai ki aik dafa log masjid Quba mein namaz fajr ada kar rahe the itne mein un ke pass ek shakhs aaya usne kaha guzishta roz Rasul Allah (SAW) par Quran nazil kya gaya aur aap ko hukm diya gaya hai ki Kaaba ki taraf munh kar ke namaz parhein lihaza qibla rukh ho jao un ke chehre sham ki taraf the chunancha woh haalat namaz mein hi Kaaba ki taraf phir gaye
٢٢٣٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا ابْنُ قَعْنَبٍ، وَابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ،عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ:بَيْنَمَا النَّاسُ بِقُبَاءَ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ آتٍ،فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ قُرْآنٌ، وَقَدْ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلُوهَا، وَكَانَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَاسْتَدَارُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ "أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ
