Chapter on Concluding the Prayer with the Salam

باب من قال يقرأ خلف الإمام فيما يجهر فيه بالقراءة بفاتحة الكتاب وفيما يسر فيه بفاتحة الكتاب فصاعدا

Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2955

It is narrated from Hasan Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that one should (must) recite Surah Fatiha in one's heart in every prayer behind the Imam.

Grade: Sahih

(٢٩٥٥) حسن بصری (رح) سے روایت ہے کہ امام کے پیچھے ہر نماز میں اپنے دل میں سورة فاتحہ (ضرور) پڑھا کرو۔

(2955) Hasan Basri (rah) se riwayat hai ki imam ke peeche har namaz mein apne dil mein Surah Fatiha (zaroor) parha karo.

٢٩٥٥ -قَالَ:وَثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أنبأ يُونُسُ، وَمَنْصُورٌ،عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:" اقْرَأْ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ فِي كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فِي نَفْسِكَ "
