Chapter on Concluding the Prayer with the Salam
باب من قال يقرأ خلف الإمام فيما يجهر فيه بالقراءة بفاتحة الكتاب وفيما يسر فيه بفاتحة الكتاب فصاعدا
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 2956
It is narrated from Shabi that in the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr and Asr prayers, recite Surah Fatihah and another Surah behind the Imam, and in the last two rak'ahs, recite only Surah Fatihah.

(٢٩٥٦) شعبی سے منقول ہے کہ ظہر اور عصر کی پہلی دو رکعتوں میں امام کے پیچھے سورة فاتحہ اور کوئی سورت پڑھ لو اور آخری دو رکعتوں میں سورة فاتحہ پڑھو۔
2956 Shobay se manqol hai kay Zuhar aur Asar ki pehli do rakaton mein Imam ke peechay Surah Fatiha aur koi surat parh lo aur akhri do rakaton mein Surah Fatiha parho.
٢٩٥٦ -قَالَ:وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ،عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:" اقْرَأْ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَسُورَةٍ، وَفِي الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ "
