Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4081
Ibn Mubarak said, "There is no strength in the argument of the one who says that if the Imam leads the prayer without ablution, then his followers will repeat the prayer. The other narration is more authentic, that the people do not repeat the prayer. This is for the one who seeks justice through hadith."

(٤٠٨١) ابن مبارک فرماتے ہیں کہ اس حدیث میں اس شخص کے لیے کوئی قوت موجود نہیں ہے جو یہ کہتا ہے کہ جب امام بغیر وضو کے نماز پڑھا دے تو اس کے ساتھی نماز لوٹائیں گے اور دوسری حدیث زیادہ ثابت ہے کہ لوگ نماز نہیں لوٹائیں گے۔ یہ اس شخص کے لیے ہے جو حدیث کے ذریعے انصاف چاہتا ہے۔
(4081) Ibn Mubarak farmate hain ke is hadees mein is shakhs ke liye koi quwwat mojood nahin hai jo ye kehta hai ke jab Imam baghair wuzu ke namaz parha de to uske saathi namaz lutaenge aur dusri hadees zyada sabit hai ke log namaz nahin lutaenge. Ye us shakhs ke liye hai jo hadees ke zariye insaf chahta hai.
٤٠٨١ - وَأنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجِرَاحِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ شَاسَوَيْهِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ السُّكَّرِيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ،أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ:قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ" لَيْسَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ قُوَّةٌ لِمَنْ يَقُولُ: إِذَا صَلَّى الْإِمَامُ بِغَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَهُ يُعِيدُونَ، وَالْحَدِيثُ الْآخَرُ أَثْبَتَ أَنْ لَا يُعِيدَ الْقَوْمُ، هَذَا لِمَنْ أَرَادَ الْإِنْصَافَ بِالْحَدِيثِ "
