Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4763
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Qatadah ibn Luqman told him that a man stayed overnight with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and recited "Say, He is Allah, the One," repeatedly throughout the night, nothing more. The narrator said: When we reached the morning, a man said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! A man spent the night reciting in prayer 'Say, He is Allah, the One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge, He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent,' repeatedly, nothing more, as if he considered this Surah insignificant." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, it is equivalent to one-third of the Quran."

(٤٧٦٣) ابو سعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے قتادہ بن لقمان نے بتایا کہ ایک شخص نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دور میں قیام کیا تو اس نے { قُلْ ہُوَ اللَّہُ أَحَدٌ} ” کہہ دیجیے اللہ ایک ہے “ بار بار پڑھا۔ اس سے زائد کچھ نہیں پڑھا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : جب ہم نے صبح کی تو ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ایک شخص نے رات کے قیام میں { قُلْ ہُوَ اللَّہُ أَحَدٌ اللَّہُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ یَلِدْ وَلَمْ یُولَدْ وَلَمْ یَکُنْ لَہُ کُفُوًا أَحَدٌ} ” کہہ دیجیے اللہ ایک ہے، اللہ بےنیاز ہے، نہ اس نے کسی کو جنا اور نہ وہ جنم دیا گیا اور اس کا کوئی ہمسر بھی نہیں “ بار بار اسی کو دہراتا رہا اس کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں پڑھا۔ گویا وہ شخص اس سورت کو کم سمجھ رہا تھا۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے قبضہ میں میری جان ہے یہ سورت قرآن کے تہائی حصہ کے برابر ہے۔
(4763) Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain ke mujhe Qatada bin Luqman ne bataya ke ek shakhs ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke daur mein qayam kiya to usne {Qul Huwallahu Ahad} "keh dijiye Allah ek hai" baar baar parha. Iss se ziada kuchh nahin parha. Rawi kehte hain: Jab humne subah ki to ek shakhs ne Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Ek shakhs ne raat ke qayam mein {Qul Huwallahu Ahad, Allahu Assamad, Lam yalid walam yulad, walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad} "keh dijiye Allah ek hai, Allah beniyaz hai, na usne kisi ko jana aur na woh janam diya gaya aur uska koi humsar bhi nahin" baar baar isi ko dohrata raha iss ke ilawa kuchh nahin parha. Goya woh shakhs iss surat ko kam samajh raha tha. Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Qasam hai iss zaat ki jiske qabze mein meri jaan hai yeh surat Quran ke tehtai hissa ke barabar hai.
٤٧٦٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَحْرٍ الْبُرِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الْبَزَّازُ فِي قَطِيعَةِ الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَامَ فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ السُّورَةَ كُلَّهَا يُرَدِّدُهَا لَا يَزِيدُ عَلَيْهَا،قَالَ:فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إنَّ رَجُلًا قَامَ لَيْلَةً يَقْرَأُ فِي السَّحَرِ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ. اللهُ الصَّمَدُ. لَمْ يَلِدْ، وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ يُرَدِّدُهَا لَا يَزِيدُ عَلَيْهَا،قَالَ:كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يُقَالُّهَا،قَالَ:فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهَا لَتَعْدِلُ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ "
