Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4786
Abdullah bin Thalabah Azdi, a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), rubbed his hand on his face and said: I saw Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) offering the evening prayer. Then he prayed one rak'ah. In Yunus's narration, it is said that he stood (in prayer) till midnight.

(٤٧٨٦) عبداللہ بن ثعلبہ عذری نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ میں سے ہیں، انھوں نے اپنے منہ پر ہاتھ پھیرا۔ فرماتے ہیں : میں نے سعد بن ابی وقاص (رض) کو دیکھا، انھوں نے عشا کی نماز ادا کی، پھر ایک رکعت پڑھی اور یونس کی روایت میں ہے کہ انھوں نے آدھی رات تک قیام کیا۔
4786 Abdullah bin Sa'laba Azdi Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke Sahaba mein se hain, unhon ne apne munh par hath pheira. Faramate hain : mein ne Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (RA) ko dekha, unhon ne Isha ki namaz ada ki, phir ek rakat parhi aur Yunus ki riwayat mein hai ke unhon ne aadhi raat tak qayam kiya.
٤٧٨٦ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى، أنبأ مُحَمَّدٌ، ثنا بِشْرٌ، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ الْعُذْرِيِّ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ مَسَحَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ،قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إِذَا صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ أَوْتَرَ بِرَكْعَةٍ "زَادَ فِيهِ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ يُونُسَ: حَتَّى يَقُومَ مِنْ جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ.أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ فَقَالَ:وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يُونُسَ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ. وَمِنْهُمْ تَمِيمٌ الدَّارِيُّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ
