Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4799
Hisham bin Urwah narrated from his father that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Your (Prophet Muhammad's peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) night prayer used to be thirteen rak'ahs. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pray five witr and not offer salam in them, then you would sit in the last rak'ah and offer salam."

(٤٧٩٩) ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز رات کو تیرہ رکعات ہوتی تھی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پانچ وتر پڑھتے اور ان میں سلام نہ پھیرتے، پھر آخری رکعت میں بیٹھتے اور سلام پھیرتے۔
Hisham bin Urwah apne walid se naql farmate hain ke Hazrat Ayesha (Razi Allahu Anha) farmati hain ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz raat ko terah rakat hoti thi. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) panch witr parhte aur un mein salam nah phirte, phir aakhri rakat mein baithte aur salam phirte.
٤٧٩٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنبأ هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ وَلَا يُسَلِّمُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَمْسِ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ "
