Chapter on What is Narrated About Preventing Those Who Ate Garlic, Onions, or Leeks from Coming to the Mosque
باب ما جاء في منع من أكل ثوما أو بصلا أو كراثا من أن يأتي المسجد
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5051
'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Suhayb said: We asked Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): What did you hear from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about garlic? Anas said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: He should neither approach our mosque nor pray with us.

(٥٠٥١) عبد العزیز بن صہیب فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نے انس بن مالک (رض) سے پوچھا : آپ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے لہسن کے بارے میں کیا سنا ہے ؟ انس فرمانے لگے : نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہ تو وہ ہماری مسجد کے قریب آئے اور نہ ہی ہمارے ساتھ نماز پڑھے۔
5051 Abdul Aziz bin Saheeb farmate hain ki hum ne Anas bin Malik (RA) se poocha: Aap ne Nabi (SAWW) se lahsan ke bare mein kya suna hai? Anas farmane lage: Nabi (SAWW) ne farmaya: Na to woh hamari masjid ke qareeb aaye aur na hi hamare sath namaz parhe.
٥٠٥١ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ،عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ:قُلْنَا لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: مَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي الثُّومِ؟قَالَ:قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبْنَا، وَلَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ مَعَنَا ". ⦗١٠٨⦘ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ وَغَيْرِهِ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ
