Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5276
(5276) It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When one of you leads the people in prayer, he should shorten it, for among them are the sick, the elderly, the weak and those who have needs.”

(٥٢٧٦) ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب تم میں سے کوئی لوگوں کی امامت کرو اے تو نماز مختصر پڑھے۔ کیونکہ ان میں بیمار، بوڑھے، کمزور اور چھوٹے ہوتے ہیں۔
Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi logon ki imamat karae to namaz mukhtasar parhe kyonki un mein bimar, budhe, kamzor aur chhote hote hain.
٥٢٧٦ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُصَيْرٍ الْخُلْدِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا الْمُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا أَمَّ أَحَدُكُمُ النَّاسَ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ، فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الصَّغِيرَ، وَالْكَبِيرَ، وَالضَّعِيفَ، وَالْمَرِيضَ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى وَحْدَهُ فَلْيُصَلِّ كَيْفَ شَاءَ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ
