Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5303
Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrated from his father that Hasan and Husayn used to pray behind Marwan. The narrator asked: Didn't they go back to their homes and pray? He said: No, by Allah! They did not pray more than the prayer of the Imams.

(٥٣٠٣) جعفر بن محمد اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حسن و حسین دونوں مروان کے پیچھے نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : پھر انھوں نے پوچھا : وہ اپنے گھروں میں لوٹ کر نماز نہیں پڑھتے تھے ؟ فرمایا : نہیں، اللہ کی قسم ! وہ ائمہ کی نماز سے زیادہ نہیں پڑھتے تھے۔

٥٣٠٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ، وَالْحُسَيْنَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا كَانَا يُصَلِّيَانِ خَلْفَ مَرْوَانَ،قَالَ:فَقَالَ: مَا كَانَا يُصَلِّيَانِ إِذَا رَجَعَا إِلَى مَنَازِلِهِمَا؟فَقَالَ:" لَا وَاللهِ، مَا كَانَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الْأَئِمَّةِ "
