Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "O people! This world is but a temporary enjoyment, from which the righteous and the wicked eat. And the Hereafter is a true promise, in which the Just King will prove the truth to be true and falsehood to be false."

(٥٨٠٧) شداد بن اوس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا : اے لوگو ! دنیا حاضر سامان ہے۔ اس سے نیک و بد کھاتے ہیں اور آخرت سچا وعدہ ہے۔ اس میں عادل بادشاہ سچ کو سچ ثابت کرے گا اور باطل کو باطل کر دے گا۔
Shadad bin Aws (RA) farmate hain ki maine Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna : Ae logo! Duniya hazir saman hai. Iss se naik o bad khate hain aur akhirat sacha wada hai. Isme adil badshah sach ko sach sabit karega aur baatil ko baatil kar dega.
٥٨٠٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَمَامِيِّ الْمُقْرِئُ بِبَغْدَادَ،أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ:قُرِئَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ،عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ:⦗٣٠٦⦘ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا الدُّنْيَا عَرَضٌ حَاضِرٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا الْبَرُّ وَالْفَاجِرُ، وَالْآخِرَةُ وَعْدٌ صَادِقٌ يَحْكُمُ فِيهَا مَلِكٌ عَادِلٌ يُحِقُّ فِيهَا الْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلُ الْبَاطِلَ "
