Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 6434
Saeed bin Musayyab narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that Abu Lubabah was saying to the sky, "Be high," meaning he wished for the drought to last until his dates were sold. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Allah! Send it down (meaning, send down the rain)," until Abu Lubabah is forced to close the opening of his shed with his garment. So Allah Almighty sent down the rain. When the rainwater reached Abu Lubabah's dates, while he was in his date garden, Abu Lubabah was forced to go to his garment. So he closed the opening of his shed with it.

(٦٤٣٤) سعید بن مسیب بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو خبر دی گئی کہ ابو لبابہ آسمان سے کہتا ہے : تو لمبا ہوجا، یعنی وہ قحط اپنے کھجوروں کے پھل کے خرچ ہونے کیلئے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے اللہ ! اس کو بھیج دے (یعنی بارش نازل کر دے) یہاں تک کہ ابو لبابہ اپنے باڑے کے سوراخ کو اپنی چادر سے بند کرنے پر مجبور ہوجائے تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے بارش نازل فرما دی سو جب بارش کا پانی ابو لبابہ کے پھل تک پہنچا اور وہ اپنے کھجوروں کے باڑے میں تھا تو ابو لبابہ اپنی چادر کی طرف مجبور ہوا تو اس نے اس کے ساتھ اپنے باڑے کے سوراخ کو بند کیا۔
6434 Saeed bin Musayyab bayan karte hain ki aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko khabar di gai ki Abu Lababah asmaan se kehta hai: "Tu lamba hoja" yaani woh qahat apne khajuron ke phal ke kharch hone ke liye. To Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Aye Allah! Isko bhej de (yani baarish nazil kar de) yahan tak ki Abu Lababah apne baare ke suraakh ko apni chadar se band karne par majboor hojaaye." To Allah Ta'ala ne baarish nazil farma di. So jab baarish ka paani Abu Lababah ke phal tak pahuncha aur woh apne khajuron ke baare mein tha to Abu Lababah apni chadar ki taraf majboor hua to usne uske saath apne baare ke suraakh ko band kiya.
٦٤٣٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ، أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى، ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ" أَنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُخْبِرَ أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ يَقُولُ لِلسَّمَاءِ: "أَمِدِّي، يَدْعُو بِالْجَدْبِ لِنَفَاقِ ثَمَرَةِ نَخْلِهِ،فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اللهُمَّ أَرْسِلْهَا حَتَّى يَسُدَّ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ ثَعْلَبَ مِرْبَدِهِ بِرِدَائِهِ "فَأَرْسَلَ اللهُ السَّمَاءَ فَلَمَّا صَارَ السَّيْلُ بِثَمَرِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ، وَهُوَ فِي الْمِرْبَدِ اضْطُرَّ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ إِلَى إِزَارِهِ فَسَدَّ بِهِ ثَعْلَبَ الْمِرْبَدِ "
