Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 7161
Shafiq reported that when Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) died, the women of Banu Mughirah gathered and began to weep for him. It was said to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), "Send a message to them and forbid them." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Leave them alone, they are only shedding tears for Abu Sulaiman, as long as there is no loud wailing or eulogy."

(٧١٦١) حضرت شفیق فرماتے ہیں کہ جب خالد بن ولید (رض) فوت ہوئے تو بنو مغیرہ کی عورتیں اکٹھی ہوئیں اور ان پر رونے لگیں۔۔۔ عمر (رض) سے کہا گیا : ان کی طرف پیغام بھیجو اور انھیں منع کرو۔ ان کی طرف سے تمہیں ایسی کوئی چیز (عمل نہیں پہنچا جو آپ کو ناپسند ہو تو عمر (رض) نے کہا : ان پر کچھ نہیں مگر وہ ابو سلیمان پر آنسو بہا رہی ہیں جب تک آواز یا نوحہ نہ ہو۔
Hazrat Shafiq farmate hain ki jab Khalid bin Waleed (RA) فوت hue to Banu Mughirah ki aurten ikhatti hui aur un par rone lagi. Umar (RA) se kaha gaya: un ki taraf paigham bhejo aur unhen mana karo. Un ki taraf se tumhen aisi koi cheez (amal nahi pahuncha jo aap ko napasand ho to Umar (RA) ne kaha: un par kuch nahi magar woh Abu Sulaiman par aansu baha rahi hain jab tak aawaz ya noha na ho.
٧١٦١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، رَحِمَهُ اللهُ، أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، أنبأ سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ،عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ:لَمَّا مَاتَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ اجْتَمَعَ نِسْوَةُ بَنِي الْمُغِيرَةِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَيْهِ فَقِيلَ لِعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: أَرْسِلْ إِلَيْهِنَّ فَإِنَّهُنَّ لَا يَبْلُغْكَ عَنْهُنَّ شَيْءٌ تَكْرَهُ،فَقَالَ عُمَرُ:" مَا عَلَيْهِنَّ أَنْ يَهْرِقْنَ دُمُوعَهُنَّ عَلَى أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ نَقْعًا أَوْ لَقْلَقَةً "
