Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 7731
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that some villagers came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! We are people of livestock, so will the Sadaqat-ul-Fitr be waived for us?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No, you should pay it on behalf of every male and female, young and old, free and slave, a Sa' of dates, or barley, or raisins, or cheese."

(٧٧٣١) حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ کچھ دیہاتی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے اور عرض کیا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! ہم مال مویشی والے ہیں ، کیا ہم سے صدقہ فطر معاف کردیں گے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہیں تم ہر چھوٹے بڑے مذکر و مونث اور غلام و آزاد کی طرف سے ادا کرو، کھجور، منقی ‘ جو یا پنیر کا ایک صاع۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain ke kuch dehati Rasool Allah (SAW) ke pas aaye aur arz kiya: Aye Allah ke Rasool! hum mal moishi wale hain, kya hum se sadqa fitr maaf kar denge? To aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Nahin tum har chhote badey muzakkar o mo'annas aur ghulam o azad ki taraf se ada karo, khajoor, munqa', jau ya paneer ka ek sa'.
٧٧٣١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي،قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ،قَالَ:قُرِئَ عَلَى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: وَكَتَبَ إِلَى كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْمُزَنِيِّ يُخْبِرُ، عَنْ رُبَيْحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:جَاءَ رِجَالٌ مِنَ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا أُولُو أَمْوَالٍ فَهَلْ يَجُوزُ عَنَّا مِنْ زَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ؟قَالَ:" لَا فَأَدُّوهَا عَنِ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ زَبِيبٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ "
