Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 7918
Ibn Musayyab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) wandering in the marketplace. Then he came to his family and said: 'Do you have anything (to eat)?' If they said: 'No,' he would say: 'Then I am fasting.'"

(٧٩١٨) ابن مسیب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوہریرہ (رض) کو دیکھا، وہ بازار میں گھوم رہے تھے۔ پھر وہ اپنے اہل کے پاس آئے اور کہا : کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی چیز ہے ؟ اگر وہ کہتے : نہیں تو وہ کہتے : پھر میں روزے سے ہوں۔
(7918) Ibn Maseeb (RA) farmate hain keh main ne Abu Huraira (RA) ko dekha, woh bazaar mein ghoom rahe thay. Phir woh apne ahl ke paas aye aur kaha: kya tumhare paas koi cheez hai? Agar woh kahte: nahin to woh kahte: phir main roze se hun.
٧٩١٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَعْرُوفِ الْفَقِيهُ،قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ،قَالَ:أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ نَجِيحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،قَالَ:رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَطُوفُ بِالسُّوقِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ فَيَقُولُ:" أَعِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ؟ "فَإِنْ قَالُوا: لَا،قَالَ:" فَأَنَا صَائِمٌ "
