Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 798
(798) Sayyidina Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family), narrates: I was standing with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) when a Jewish scholar came and said: "Peace be upon you, O Muhammad!" The narrator says: I pushed him forcefully, almost causing him to fall. The Jew said: "Why did you push me?" I said: "Why don't you say, 'O Messenger of Allah'?" The Jew said: "We will address him by the name his family gave him." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "The name my family gave me is Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family)." The Jew said: "I have come to ask you about some matters." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "Will it benefit you if I tell you?" He said: "I will listen with my ears." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) poked the ground with a stick he had, then said: "Ask." The Jew said: "Where will the people be when the earth and sky are changed?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "In darkness, except for those on the Bridge of Sirat." He said: "Which people will be given permission to enter Paradise first?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "The poor migrants." The Jew said: "What will their treat be when they enter Paradise?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "Hospitality with fish liver." He said: "What will their food be after that?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "A bull from Paradise will be slaughtered for them, which eats and drinks from the different parts of Paradise." He said: "What will their drink be?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "A spring called Salsabil." He said: "You have spoken the truth." Then he said: "And I have come to ask you about something that no one on earth knows except a prophet or one or two people." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "Will it benefit you if I tell you?" He said: "I will listen with my ears." And he said: "I have come to ask you about the child." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "The man's water is white and the woman's water is yellow. When the man's semen overpowers the woman's, they give birth to a boy by the command of Allah. And when the woman's semen overpowers the man's, they give birth to a girl by the command of Allah." He said: "You have spoken the truth; indeed, you are a true prophet." Then he turned back. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: "However, I had no knowledge of the things he asked me about, then Allah gave me knowledge of them."

(٧٩٨) رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے غلام سیدنا ثوبان (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس کھڑا تھا ، ایک یہودی عالم آیا اور کہا : السلام علیکم یا محمد ! راوی کہتا ہے کہ میں نے اس کو زور سے ہٹایا ۔ قریب تھا کہ وہ گر جاتا۔ یہودی نے کہا : تو نے مجھے کیوں ہٹایا ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : تو یا رسول اللہ کیوں نہیں کہتا ؟ یہودی نے کہا : ہم اس کو اسی نام سے پکاریں گے جو نام ان کے گھر والوں نے رکھا ہے۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” میرے گھر والوں نے جو میرا نام رکھا ہے وہ محمد ( (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ) ہے۔ یہودی نے کہا : میں آپ سے کچھ چیزوں کے بارے میں سوال کرنے آیا ہوں تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اگر میں تجھ کو کوئی بات بتاؤں تو تجھ کو فائدہ دے گی ؟ اس نے کہا : میں اپنے کانوں سے سنوں گا تو رسول اللہ نے لکڑی کے ساتھ کریدا جو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس تھی، پھر فرمایا : ” سوال کر۔ یہودی نے کہا : لوگ (اس وقت) کہاں ہوں گے جب زمین و آسمان بدل دیے جائیں گے ؟ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : پل صراط کے علاوہ اندھیرے میں ہوں گے۔ “ اس نے کہا : کن لوگوں کو سب سے پہلے (جنت جانے کی) اجازت دی جائے گی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” فقیر مہاجرین کو “۔ یہودی نے کہا : جب وہ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے تو ان کا تحفہ کیا ہوگا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مچھلی کے جگر سے مہمان نوازی۔ اس نے کہا : اس کے بعد ان کی غذا کیا ہوگی ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” ان کے لیے جنت کا بیل ذبح کیا جائے گا۔ جو اس جنت کے مختلف حصوں میں کھاتا پیتا ہے “۔ اس نے کہا : ان کا پینا کیا ہوگا ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” ایک چشمہ جس کا نام سبیل ہوگا۔ “ اس نے کہا : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے سچ کہا۔ پھر اس نے کہا اور میں آپ سے ایسی چیز کے متعلق سوال کرنے آیا ہوں جس کو اہل زمین میں سے کوئی نہیں جانتا، مگر نبی یا ایک یا دو آدمی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر آپ کو کوئی بات بتاؤں کیا آپ کو وہ فائدہ دے گی۔ اس نے کہا : میں اپنے کانوں سے سنوں گا اور کہا : میں آپ سے بچے کے متعلق سوال کرنے کے لیے آیا ہوں۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” آدمی کا پانی سفید ہوتا ہے اور عورت کا پانی زرد ہوتا ہے، جب آدمی کی منی عورت کی منی پر غالب آجاتی ہے تو دونوں اللہ کے حکم سے لڑکا پیدا کرتے ہیں اور جب عورت کی منی مرد کی منی پر غالب آجاتی ہے تو اللہ کے حکم سے لڑکی پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ اس نے کہا : آپ نے سچ کہا : بیشک آپ سچے نبی ہیں، پھر وہ واپس چلا گیا ۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : البتہ جن چیزوں کے متعلق اس نے مجھ سے سوال کیا میرے پاس اس کا کوئی علم نہیں تھا ، پھر اللہ نے مجھے ان کا علم دے دیا۔
798 Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke ghulam Sayyiduna Thawban (RA) farmate hain ki mein Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass khara tha, ek Yahoodi Aalim aaya aur kaha : Assalamu Alaikum ya Muhammad! Rawi kehta hai ki maine usko zor se hataya. Qareeb tha ki woh gir jata. Yahoodi ne kaha : Tu ne mujhe kyun hataya hai? Maine kaha : Tu ya Rasool Allah kyun nahi kehta? Yahoodi ne kaha : Hum usko usi naam se pukarenge jo naam unke ghar walon ne rakha hai. Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Mere ghar walon ne jo mera naam rakha hai woh Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) hai. Yahoodi ne kaha : Mein aap se kuch cheezon ke bare mein sawal karne aaya hun to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Agar mein tujh ko koi baat bataun to tujh ko faidah degi? Usne kaha : Mein apne kano se sununga to Rasool Allah ne lakdi ke sath kereda jo aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pass thi, phir farmaya : ” Sawal kar. Yahoodi ne kaha : Log (is waqt) kahan honge jab zameen o asmaan badal diye jayenge? Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Pul Sirat ke ilawa andhere mein honge. “ Usne kaha : Kin logon ko sab se pehle (jannat jane ki) ijazat di jayegi. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Faqeer muhajireen ko “. Yahoodi ne kaha : Jab woh jannat mein dakhil honge to unka tohfa kya hoga? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Machhli ke jigar se mehman nawazi. Usne kaha : Iske baad unki ghiza kya hogi? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Unke liye jannat ka bail zabah kiya jayega. Jo us jannat ke mukhtalif hisson mein khata peeta hai “. Usne kaha : Unka peena kya hoga? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Ek chashma jis ka naam Sabeel hoga. “ Usne kaha : Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne sach kaha. Phir usne kaha aur mein aap se aisi cheez ke mutalliq sawal karne aaya hun jisko ahl zameen mein se koi nahi janta, magar Nabi ya ek ya do aadmi. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Agar aap ko koi baat bataun kya aap ko woh faidah degi. Usne kaha : Mein apne kano se sununga aur kaha : Mein aap se bache ke mutalliq sawal karne ke liye aaya hun. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Aadmi ka pani safed hota hai aur aurat ka pani zard hota hai, jab aadmi ki mani aurat ki mani par ghalib aajati hai to dono Allah ke hukm se larka paida karte hain aur jab aurat ki mani mard ki mani par ghalib aajati hai to Allah ke hukm se larki paida hoti hai. Usne kaha : Aap ne sach kaha : Beshak aap sache Nabi hain, phir woh wapas chala gaya . Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Albatta jin cheezon ke mutalliq usne mujh se sawal kiya mere pass us ka koi ilm nahi tha , phir Allah ne mujhe un ka ilm de diya.
٧٩٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الدَّيْرَعَاقُولِيُّ، نا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ زَيْدَ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ،قَالَ:حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيُّ، أَنَّ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،قَالَ:كُنْتُ قَائِمًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَ حَبْرٌ مِنْ أَحْبَارِ الْيَهُودِ فَقَالَ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ،قَالَ:فَدَفَعْتُهُ دَفْعَةً كَادَ يُصْرَعُ مِنْهَا،فَقَالَ الْيَهُودِيُّ:لِمَ دَفَعْتَنِي؟فَقُلْتُ:أَلَا تَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ،قَالَ:الْيَهُودِيُّ إِنَّمَا نَدْعُوهُ بِاسْمِهِ الَّذِي سَمَّاهُ بِهِ أَهْلُهُ،فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّمَا اسْمِي الَّذِي سَمَّانِي بِهِ أَهْلِي مُحَمَّدٌ "،قَالَ الْيَهُودِيُّ:جِئْتُ أَسْأَلُكَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ،فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَيَنْفَعُكَ شَيْءٌ إِنْ حَدَّثْتُكَ "،قَالَ:أَسْمَعُ بِأُذُنِي، فَنَكَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعُودٍ مَعَهُ،ثُمَّ قَالَ:" سَلْ "فَقَالَ الْيَهُودِيُّ: أَيْنَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ ⦗٢٦٢⦘ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ؟فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" هُمْ فِي الظُّلْمَةِ دُونَ الْجِسْرِ "،قَالَ:فَمَنْ أَوَّلُ النَّاسِ إِجَازَةً؟قَالَ:" فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ "قَالَ الْيَهُودِيُّ: فَمَا تُحْفَتُهُمْ حِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ؟قَالَ:" زِيَادَةُ كَبِدِ النُّونِ "قَالَ: فَمَا غِذَاؤُهُمْ عَلَى إِثْرِهَا؟قَالَ:" يُنْحَرُ لَهُمْ ثَوْرُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا "،قَالَ:فَمَا شَرَابُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ؟قَالَ:" مِنْ عَيْنٍ فِيهَا تُسَمَّى سَلْسَبِيلًا "فَقَالَ: صَدَقْتَ،قَالَ:وَجِئْتُ أَسْأَلُكَ، عَنْ شَيْءٍ لَا يَعْلَمُهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ رَجُلٌ أَوْ رَجُلَانِ،قَالَ:" أَيَنْفَعُكَ إِنْ حَدَّثْتُكَ "قَالَ: أَسْمَعُ بِأُذُنِي،قَالَ:جِئْتُ أَسْأَلُكَ عَنِ الْوَلَدِ؟فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَاءُ الرَّجُلِ أَبْيَضُ، وَمَاءُ الْمَرْأَةِ أَصْفَرُ، فَإِذَا عَلَا مَنِيُّ الرَّجُلِ مَنِيَّ الْمَرْأَةِ أَذْكَرَا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ تَعَالَى، وَإِذَا عَلَا مَنِيُّ الْمَرْأَةِ مَنِيَّ الرَّجُلِ آنَثَا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ "فَقَالَ: صَدَقْتَ، وَإِنَّكَ لِنَبِيٌّ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ،فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَقَدْ سَأَلَنِي هَذَا عَنِ الَّذِي سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ وَمَا لِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْهُ عَلِمٌ حَتَّى آتَانِي اللهُ بِهِ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي تَوْبَةَ
