Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 8001
Samurah ibn Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not let the adhan of Bilal deceive you at the time of suhoor, for he gives the call while the whiteness of dawn has not yet spread across the horizon, but it is rather like this (and he gestured with his hand lengthwise), until it spreads out like this (and he gestured with his hands spread out)."

(٨٠٠١) سمرہ بن جندب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : سحری کے وقت تمہیں بلال کی اذان دھوکا نہ دے، کیونکہ اس وقت سفیدی کناروں میں نہیں پھیلتی ، بلکہ وہ اس طرح لمبی ہوتی ہے جب تک اس طرح نہ پھیل جائے۔
(8001) Samra bin Jundab (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Sehri ke waqt tumhein Bilal ki azan dhoka na de, kyunki us waqt safeedi kinaron mein nahi phelti, balki woh is tarah lambi hoti hai jab tak is tarah na phel jaye.
٨٠٠١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ مَخْلَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الدَّقَّاقُ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ،قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ مِنْ سُحُورِكُمْ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ، وَلَا بَيَاضُ الْأُفُقِ الْمُسْتَطِيلِ هَكَذَا، حَتَّى يَسْتَطِيرَ هَكَذَا "وَحَكَى حَمَّادٌ بِيَدِهِ،قَالَ:يَعْنِي مُعْتَرِضًا، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيِّ
