Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 8377
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observed Sawm (fasting) at the end of the month. When people also observed Sawm, this matter reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If the month had been longer, I would have observed Sawm longer. And those who are observing Sawm (in imitation of me), should stop it. You are not like me. My Lord feeds me and gives me drink."

(٨٣٧٧) انس بن مالک (رض) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مہینے کے آخر میں وصال کیا تو لوگوں نے بھی وصال کیا تو یہ بات رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تک پہنچی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اگر مہینہ لمبا ہوتا تو میں لمبا وصال کرتا اور اس میں کہنے والے باز آجائیں تم میری طرح نہیں ہو میرا رب مجھے کھلاتا پلاتا ہے۔
8377 Anas bin Malik (RA) bayan karte hain ke aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mahine ke akhir mein wisal kiya to logon ne bhi wisal kiya to yeh baat Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) tak pahunchi to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Agar mahina lamba hota to main lamba wisal karta aur is mein kehne wale baaz aajayen tum meri tarah nahi ho mera Rab mujhe khilata pilata hai.
٨٣٧٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ،عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاصَلَ فِي آخِرِ الشَّهْرِ فَوَاصَلَ النَّاسُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:" لَوْ مُدَّ لَنَا الشَّهْرُ لَوَاصَلْتُ وِصَالًا يَدَعُ الْمُتَعَمِّقُونَ تَعَمُّقَهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ كَهَيْئَتِي إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي"⦗٤٦٨⦘ أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَقَالَ إِنِّي أَظَلُّ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي، وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
