Narrated Abu Waqid Al-Laithi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that while Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men came. Two of them came in front of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and the third one went away. The two persons kept on standing before Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) for a while and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the other sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them betook himself to Allah (جَلَّ ذُو), so Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) took him into His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah (جَلَّ ذُو), so Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) sheltered Him in His mercy, while the third turned his face from Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) and went away, so Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) turned His face from him likewise. "
حضرت ابو واقد لیثی ؓ سے روایت ہے، ایک مرتبہ رسول اللہ ﷺ مسجد میں لوگوں کے ہمراہ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، اتنے میں تین آدمی آئے۔ ان میں سے دو تو رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آ گئے اور ایک واپس چلا گیا۔ راوی نے کہا کہ وہ دونوں کچھ دیر رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس ٹھہرے رہے۔ ان میں سے ایک نے حلقے میں گنجائش دیکھی تو بیٹھ گیا اور دوسرا سب سے پیچھے بیٹھ گیا، تیسرا تو واپس ہی جا چکا تھا۔ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ (وعظ سے) فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا: ’’کیا میں تمہیں ان تینوں آدمیوں کا حال نہ بتاؤں؟ ان میں سے ایک نے اللہ کی طرف پناہ لی تو اللہ نے بھی اسے اپنی طرف جگہ دے دی اور دوسرا شرمایا تو اللہ نے بھی اس سے شرم کی اور تیسرے نے روگردانی کی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے بھی اس سے اعراض فرمایا۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Waqid Laithi (Raziallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, ek martaba Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) masjid mein logon ke hamrah baithe hue the, itne mein teen aadmi aaye. Un mein se do to Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas aa gaye aur ek wapas chala gaya. Rawi ne kaha ke woh dono kuch der Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas thehre rahe. Un mein se ek ne halqe mein gunjaish dekhi to baith gaya aur doosra sab se peechhe baith gaya, teesra to wapas hi ja chuka tha. Jab Rasool Allah (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) (waaz se) farigh hue to farmaya: "Kya main tumhein in teeno admiyon ka hal na bataun? In mein se ek ne Allah ki taraf panah li to Allah ne bhi use apni taraf jagah de di aur doosra sharmaya to Allah ne bhi usse sharm ki aur teesre ne roogardani ki to Allah Ta'ala ne bhi usse a'raz farmaya."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَالنَّاسُ مَعَهُ إِذْ أَقْبَلَ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ ، فَأَقْبَلَ اثْنَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَهَبَ وَاحِدٌ ، قَالَ : فَوَقَفَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَرَأَى فُرْجَةً فِي الْحَلْقَةِ فَجَلَسَ فِيهَا ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَجَلَسَ خَلْفَهُمْ ، وَأَمَّا الثَّالِثُ فَأَدْبَرَ ذَاهِبًا ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنِ النَّفَرِ الثَّلَاثَةِ ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمْ فَأَوَى إِلَى اللَّهِ فَآوَاهُ اللَّهُ ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَاسْتَحْيَا فَاسْتَحْيَا اللَّهُ مِنْهُ ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَأَعْرَضَ فَأَعْرَضَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .
