Narrated `Abdullah bin Abu `Aufa: A man displayed some goods in the market and swore by Allah that he had been offered so much for that, that which was not offered, and he said so, so as to cheat a Muslim. On that occasion the following Verse was revealed: Verily! Those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's covenant and their oaths (They shall have no portion in the Hereafter ..etc.)' (3.77)
حضرت عبد اللہ بن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے منڈی میں اپنا سامان لگایا اور اللہ کی قسم اٹھا کر کہنے لگا کہ مجھے اس کی اتنی قیمت ملتی ہے، حالانکہ اسے نہیں ملتی تھی۔ اس کا مقصد کسی مسلمان کو پھنسانا تھا اس کے متعلق یہ آیت نازل ہوئی۔ "إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّـهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا" "جولوگ اللہ کے عہد اور اپنی قسموں کے عوض بہت کم قیمت لیتے ہیں۔ "
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Aufa (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke ek aadmi ne mandi mein apna saman lagaya aur Allah ki qasam utha kar kehne laga ke mujhe is ki itni qeemat milti hai, haalanke ise nahi milti thi. Is ka maqsad kisi musalman ko phansana tha is ke mutalliq ye ayat nazil hui. "Innal-lazeena yashtaruna bi-ahdil-lahi wa aymaanihim samanan qaleela" "Jo log Allah ke ehed aur apni qasmon ke iwaz bahut kam qeemat lete hain."
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَقَامَ سِلْعَةً وَهُوَ فِي السُّوقِ ، فَحَلَفَ بِاللَّهِ ، لَقَدْ أَعْطَى بِهَا مَا لَمْ يُعْطِ لِيُوقِعَ فِيهَا رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، فَنَزَلَتْ : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا سورة آل عمران آية 77 الْآيَةَ .
