Narrated Qais: Jarir said Allah's Apostle said to me, Won't you relieve me from Dhul-Khalasa? I replied, Yes, (I will relieve you). So I proceeded along with one-hundred and fifty cavalry from Ahmas tribe who were skillful in riding horses. I used not to sit firm over horses, so I informed the Prophet of that, and he stroke my chest with his hand till I saw the marks of his hand over my chest and he said, O Allah! Make him firm and one who guides others and is guided (on the right path).' Since then I have never fallen from a horse. Dhul-l--Khulasa was a house in Yemen belonging to the tribe of Khatham and Bajaila, and in it there were idols which were worshipped, and it was called Al-Ka`ba. Jarir went there, burnt it with fire and dismantled it. When Jarir reached Yemen, there was a man who used to foretell and give good omens by casting arrows of divination. Someone said to him. The messenger of Allah's Apostle is present here and if he should get hold of you, he would chop off your neck. One day while he was using them (i.e. arrows of divination), Jarir stopped there and said to him, Break them (i.e. the arrows) and testify that None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, or else I will chop off your neck. So the man broke those arrows and testified that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah. Then Jarir sent a man called Abu Artata from the tribe of Ahmas to the Prophet to convey the good news (of destroying Dhu-l-Khalasa). So when the messenger reached the Prophet, he said, O Allah's Apostle! By Him Who sent you with the Truth, I did not leave it till it was like a scabby camel. Then the Prophet blessed the horses of Ahmas and their men five times.
حضرت جریر ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’کیا تم مجھے ذوالخلصہ سے راحت نہیں پہنچاتے؟‘‘ میں نے عرض کی: کیوں نہیں، ضرور پہنچاتا ہوں، چنانچہ میں قبیلہ احمس کے ایک سو پچاس سواروں کو لے کر روانہ ہوا۔ وہ سب گھوڑوں پر سوار تھے جبکہ میں گھوڑے پر سوار نہیں ہو سکتا تھا۔ میں نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کی شکایت کی تو آپ نے اپنا دست مبارک میرے سینے پر مارا حتی کہ میں نے اس کے اثرات اپنے سینے میں محسوس کیے۔ پھر آپ نے دعا فرمائی: ’’اے اللہ! اسے ثابت رکھ اور اسے ہدایت کرنے والا اور ہدایت یافتہ بنا دے۔‘‘ اس کے بعد میں کبھی گھوڑے سے نہیں گرا۔ واضح رہے کہ ذوالخلصہ یمن میں قبیلہ خثعم اور بجیلہ کا ایک گھر تھا جس میں بت نصب تھے جن کی عبادت کی جاتی تھی۔ اسے کعبہ کہا جاتا تھا۔ حضرت جریر ؓ نے اسے آگ لگا دی اور گرا دیا۔ جب حضرت جریر ؓ یمن پہنچے تو وہاں ایک شخص تیروں کے ذریعے سے فال نکال رہا تھا۔ اسے کہا گیا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا قاصد یہاں آ پہنچا ہے، اگر تو اس کے ہتھے چڑھ گیا تو وہ تیری گردن اڑا دے گا، چنانچہ ایک دن ایسا ہوا کہ وہ فال کھول رہا تھا، اتنے میں حضرت جریر ؓ وہاں پہنچ گئے۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: تو فال کے ان تیروں کو توڑ کر کلمہ شہادت پڑھ لے بصورتِ دیگر میں تیری گردن اڑا دوں گا، چنانچہ اس نے تیر توڑ کر کلمہ شہادت پڑھ لیا۔ پھر حضرت جریر ؓ نے قبیلہ احمس سے ایک شخص کو نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں بھیجا جس کی کنیت ابو ارطاۃ تھی تاکہ وہ آپ کو خوشخبری سنائے۔ جب وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو اس نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! اس ذات کی قسم جس نے آپ کو حق کے ساتھ بھیجا ہے! میں جب وہاں سے آیا ہوں تو ذوالخلصہ کو توڑ پھوڑ کر خارشی اونٹ کی طرح سیاہ کر دیا گیا تھا۔ یہ سن کر نبی ﷺ نے قبیلہ احمس کے سواروں اور اس کے پیادوں کے لیے پانچ مرتبہ دعا فرمائی۔
Hazrat Jarir (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke mujhe Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Kya tum mujhe Zul-Khalasa se rahat nahi pahunchate?" Main ne arz ki: kyun nahi, zaroor pahunchata hon, chunancha main qabila Ahmas ke ek sau pachas sawaron ko le kar rawan hua. Wo sab ghoron par sawar thay jabke main ghorre par sawar nahi ho sakta tha. Main ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se is ki shikayat ki to aap ne apna dast-e-mubarak mere seene par maara hatta ke main ne is ke asrat apne seene mein mehsoos kiye. Phir aap ne dua farmai: "Ae Allah! ise sabit rakh aur ise hidayat karne wala aur hidayat-yafta bana de." Is ke baad main kabhi ghorre se nahi gira. Wazeh rahe ke Zul-Khalasa Yemen mein qabila Khath'am aur Bajila ka ek ghar tha jis mein butt nasab thay jin ki ibadat ki jati thi. Ise Kaaba kaha jata tha. Hazrat Jarir (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne ise aag laga di aur gira diya. Jab Hazrat Jarir (Radi Allahu Anhu) Yemen pahunche to wahan ek shakhs teeron ke zariye se faal nikal raha tha. Ise kaha gaya ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka qasid yahan aa pahuncha hai, agar tu is ke hatthe charrh gaya to wo teri gardan uda dega, chunancha ek din aisa hua ke wo faal khol raha tha, itne mein Hazrat Jarir (Radi Allahu Anhu) wahan pahunch gaye. Unhon ne farmaya: tu faal ke in teeron ko tor kar kalma-e-shahadat parh le basurat-e-digar main teri gardan uda dunga, chunancha us ne teer tor kar kalma-e-shahadat parh liya. Phir Hazrat Jarir (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne qabila Ahmas se ek shakhs ko Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein bheja jis ki kuniyat Abu Artah thi taake wo aap ko khush-khabri sunaye. Jab wo Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua to us ne kaha: Allah ke Rasul! is zaat ki qasam jis ne aap ko haq ke saath bheja hai! Main jab wahan se aaya hon to Zul-Khalasa ko tor phorr kar kharishi oont ki tarah siyah kar diya gaya tha. Yeh sun kar Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne qabila Ahmas ke sawaron aur is ke piyadon ke liye paanch martaba dua farmai.
