Sahih al-Bukhari 1239
Narrated Al-Bara' bin `Azib: Allah's Apostle ordered us to do seven things and forbade us to do other seven. He ordered us: to follow the funeral procession. to visit the sick, to accept invitations, to help the oppressed, to fulfill the oaths, to return the greeting and to reply to the sneezer: (saying, May Allah be merciful on you, provided the sneezer says, All the praises are for Allah, ). He forbade us to use silver utensils and dishes and to wear golden rings, silk (clothes), Dibaj (pure silk cloth), Qissi and Istabraq (two kinds of silk cloths).
حضرات براء بن عازب ؓ سے روایت ہے انھوں نےفرمایا:رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں سات باتوں کا حکم دیا اور سات چیزوں سے منع فرمایا۔ جن باتوں کا حکم دیا تھا وہ: جنازوں کے ہمراہ جانا، مریض کی عیادت کرنا، دعوت قبول کرنا، مظلوم کی مدد کرنا، قسم کا پورا کرنا، سلام کاجواب دینا اورچھینکنے والے کے لیے د عا کرنا ہیں۔ اور جن چیزوں سے منع فرمایا وہ: چاندی کے برتنوں کا استعمال اور سونے کی انگوٹھی، ریشم، دیبا، قز اور استبرق (پہننا) ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara bin Azib (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne farmaya: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne humein saat baaton ka hukm diya aur saat cheezon se mana farmaya. Jin baaton ka hukm diya tha wo: janazon ke humrah jana, mareez ki iyadat karna, dawat qabool karna, mazloom ki madad karna, qasam ka poora karna, salam ka jawab dena aur chinkne wale ke liye dua karna hain. Aur jin cheezon se mana farmaya wo: chandi ke bartanon ka istemal aur sone ki angoothi, resham, deeba, qazz aur istabraq (pehnna) hain.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِسَبْعٍ وَنَهَانَا عَنْ سَبْعٍ ، أَمَرَنَا : بِاتِّبَاعِ الْجَنَائِزِ , وَعِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ , وَإِجَابَةِ الدَّاعِي , وَنَصْرِ الْمَظْلُومِ , وَإِبْرَارِ الْقَسَمِ , وَرَدِّ السَّلَامِ , وَتَشْمِيتِ الْعَاطِسِ ، وَنَهَانَا عَنْ : آنِيَةِ الْفِضَّةِ , وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ , وَالْحَرِيرِ , وَالدِّيبَاجِ , وَالْقَسِّيِّ , وَالْإِسْتَبْرَقِ .
