Sahih al-Bukhari 1390
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم), in his fatal illness said, ‘Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians for they built the places of worship at the graves of their prophets.’ And if that had not been the case, then the Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) grave would have been made prominent before the people. So the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was afraid, or the people were afraid that his grave might be taken as a place for worship.
حضرت عائشہ ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے ،انھوں نے کہا:رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنی اس مرض میں جس سے آپ صحت یاب نہ ہوئے تھے،فرمایا:’’اللہ تعالیٰ یہود ونصاریٰ پر لعنت کرے، انھوں نے اپنے انبیاء ؑ کی قبروں کو مساجد بنالیا۔‘‘ اگر آپ کی قبر کو مسجد بنالینے کا اندیشہ نہ ہوتا تو اسے ضرور ظاہر کردیاجاتا۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radhi Allahu Anha) hi se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apni is marz mein jis se Aap sehat-yab na hue the, farmaya: ''Allah Ta'ala Yahood-o-Nasara par la'nat kare, unhon ne apne Ambiya (Alaihis Salam) ki qabron ko masajid bana liya.'' Agar Aap ki qabr ko masjid bana lene ka andesha na hota to ise zaroor zahir kar diya jata.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ هِلَالٍ هُوَ الْوَزَّانُ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَقُمْ مِنْهُ : لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ ، لَوْلَا ذَلِكَ أُبْرِزَ قَبْرُهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ خَشِيَ أَوْ خُشِيَ أَنَّ يُتَّخَذَ مَسْجِدًا ، وَعَنْ هِلَالٍ , قَالَ : كَنَّانِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ لِي .
