باب مَا لاَ يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ

Sahih al-Bukhari 1542
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that a man asked, ‘O Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), what kind of clothes should a Muhrim wear?’ Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) replied, ‘he should not wear a shirt, a turban, trousers, a headscarf or leather socks except if he can find no slippers, he then may wear leather socks after cutting off what might cover the ankles. And he should not wear clothes which are scented with saffron or Wars (kinds of Perfumes).’
حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول اللہ ﷺ !محرم کون سے کپڑے پہنے؟رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’محرم قمیص، پگڑی، شلوار، ٹوپی، اور موزے نہ پہنے۔ ہاں اگر جوتا نہ ملے تو موزے پہن لے لیکن انھیں ٹخنوں کے نیچے سے کاٹ لے اور ایسا کپڑا بھی نہ پہنو جسے زعفران یا ورس لگی ہوئی ہو۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke ek shakhs ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Muhrim kaun se kapre pehne? Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Muhrim qameez, pagri, shalwar, topi, aur moze na pehne. Haan agar joota na mile to moze pehen le lekin unhein takhnon ke neeche se kaat le aur aisa kapra bhi na pehno jise zafran ya wars lagi hui ho.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ ؟ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا يَلْبَسُ الْقُمُصَ , وَلَا الْعَمَائِمَ , وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَاتِ , وَلَا الْبَرَانِسَ , وَلَا الْخِفَافَ ، إِلَّا أَحَدٌ لَا يَجِدُ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، وَلَا تَلْبَسُوا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ الزَّعْفَرَانُ أَوْ وَرْسٌ .
