Sahih al-Bukhari 2097
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: I was with the Prophet in a Ghazwa (Military Expedition) and my camel was slow and exhausted. The Prophet came up to me and said, O Jabir. I replied, Yes? He said, What is the matter with you? I replied, My camel is slow and tired, so I am left behind. So, he got down and poked the camel with his stick and then ordered me to ride. I rode the camel and it became so fast that I had to hold it from going ahead of Allah's Apostle . He then asked me, have you got married? I replied in the affirmative. He asked, A virgin or a matron? I replied, I married a matron. The Prophet said, Why have you not married a virgin, so that you may play with her and she may play with you? Jabir replied, I have sisters (young in age) so I liked to marry a matron who could collect them all and comb their hair and look after them. The Prophet said, You will reach, so when you have arrived (at home), I advise you to associate with your wife (that you may have an intelligent son). Then he asked me, Would you like to sell your camel? I replied in the affirmative and the Prophet purchased it for one Uqiya of gold. Allah's Apostle reached before me and I reached in the morning, and when I went to the mosque, I found him at the door of the mosque. He asked me, Have you arrived just now? I replied in the affirmative. He said, Leave your camel and come into (the mosque) and pray two rak`at. I entered and offered the prayer. He told Bilal to weigh and give me one Uqiya of gold. So Bilal weighed for me fairly and I went away. The Prophet sent for me and I thought that he would return to me my camel which I hated more than anything else. But the Prophet said to me, Take your camel as well as its price.
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بن عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت انھوں نے فرمایاکہ میں کسی جنگ میں نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھا میرے اونٹ نے چلنے میں سستی کی اور تھک گیا۔ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف لائے اور فرمایا: "جابر ہو؟"میں نے عرض کیا : جی ہاں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: "تیرا کیا حال ہے؟"میں نے عرض کیا: میرا اونٹ چلنے میں سستی کرتا ہے اور تھک بھی گیا ہے اس لیے میں پیچھے رہ گیا ہوں۔ پھر آپ اترے اور اسے اپنی چھڑی سے مار کر فرمایا: " اب سوارہوجاؤ۔ "چنانچہ میں سوار ہو گیا، پھر تو اونٹ ایسا تیز ہوگیا کہ میں اسے رسول اللہ ﷺ (کے برابر ہونے)سے روکتا تھا۔ آپ نے پوچھا : "کیا تم نے شادی کرلی ہے۔ ؟"میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں۔ آپ نے فرمایا : "دوشیزہ سے یا شوہر دیدہ سے؟"میں نے عرض کیا: بیوہ سے۔ آپ نے فرمایا "نو عمر سے شادی کیوں نہیں کی؟تم اس سے دل لگی کرتے وہ تم سے خوش طبعی سے پیش آتی۔ "میں نے عرض کیا: میری بہت سی بہنیں ہیں اس لیے میں نے نکاح کے لیے ایک ایسی عورت کا انتخاب کیا ہے جو انھیں اکٹھارکھے، ان کی کنگھی کرے اور ان کی خبر گیری بھی کرتی رہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: "اچھا اب تم جارہے ہو، جب اپنے گھر پہنچو تو عقل و احتیاط کا دامن ہاتھ سے مت چھوڑنا۔ "پھر فرمایا: " کیا تم اپنا اونٹ فروخت کرنا چاہتے ہو؟"میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں۔ آپ نے ایک اوقیہ چاندی کے عوض مجھ سے خرید لیا۔ پھر آپ مجھ سے پہلے مدینہ پہنچ گئے اور میں صبح کو وہاں پہنچا۔ ہم لوگ مسجد کی طرف گئے تو میں نے آپ کو مسجد کے دروازے پرپایا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: " کیا تم ابھی آرہے ہو؟"میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں آپ نے فرمایا: "اپنا اونٹ یہیں چھوڑ کر مسجد میں جاؤ اور دورکعت نماز پڑھو۔ "چنانچہ میں نے مسجد کے اندر دو رکعت نماز پڑھی، آپ نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کوحکم دیا کہ وہ مجھے ایک اوقیہ چاندی دے تو حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے جھکاؤ کے ساتھ مجھے ایک اوقیہ چاندی تول دی۔ پھر میں نے واپس جانے کا ارادہ کیا۔ جب میں نے پیٹھ پھیری تو آپ نے فرمایا: " جابر کو میرے پاس بلاؤ۔ " میں نے دل میں سوچا کہ اب آپ میرا اونٹ مجھے واپس کردیں گے اور مجھے یہ بات بہت ہی ناپسندتھی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: " تم اونٹ بھی لے لو اور اس کی قیمت بھی لے جاؤ۔ "
Hazrat Jabir (Radi Allahu Anhu) bin Abdullah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat unhon ne farmaya ke main kisi jung mein Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke humrah tha mere ont ne chalne mein sasti ki aur thak gaya. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mere paas tashreef laye aur farmaya: "Jabir ho?" Main ne arz kiya: Ji haan. Aap ne farmaya: "Tera kya haal hai?" Main ne arz kiya: Mera ont chalne mein sasti karta hai aur thak bhi gaya hai is liye main peeche reh gaya hoon. Phir aap utre aur ise apni chari se maar kar farmaya: "Ab sawar ho jao." Chunanche main sawar ho gaya, phir to ont aisa taiz ho gaya ke main ise Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) (ke barabar hone) se rokta tha. Aap ne pucha: "Kya tum ne shadi kar li hai?" Main ne arz kiya: Ji haan. Aap ne farmaya: "Doshiza se ya shoher-deeda se?" Main ne arz kiya: Bewa se. Aap ne farmaya "Nau-umar se shadi kyun nahi ki? Tum is se dil-lagi karte wo tum se khush-tabai se paish aati." Main ne arz kiya: Meri bahut si behenein hain is liye main ne nikah ke liye ek aisi aurat ka intikhab kiya hai jo inhein ikhtay rakkhe, in ki kanghi kare aur in ki khabar-giri bhi karti rahe. Aap ne farmaya: "Accha ab tum ja rahe ho, jab apne ghar pahuncho to aql-o-ihtiyat ka daman hath se mat chhorna." Phir farmaya: "Kya tum apna ont faroakht karna chahte ho?" Main ne arz kiya: Ji haan. Aap ne ek ouqiyah chandi ke iwaz mujh se khareed liya. Phir aap mujh se pehle Madinah pahunch gaye aur main subha ko wahan pahuncha. Hum log masjid ki taraf gaye to main ne aap ko masjid ke darwaze par paya. Aap ne farmaya: "Kya tum abhi aa rahe ho?" Main ne arz kiya: Ji haan aap ne farmaya: "Apna ont yahin chhor kar masjid mein jao aur do rak'at namaz parho." Chunanche main ne masjid ke andar do rak'at namaz parhi, aap ne Hazrat Bilal (Radi Allahu Anhu) ko hukm diya ke wo mujhe ek ouqiyah chandi de to Hazrat Bilal (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne jhukao ke sath mujhe ek ouqiyah chandi tol di. Phir main ne wapas jane ka irada kiya. Jab main ne peeth pheri to aap ne farmaya: "Jabir ko mere paas bulao." Main ne dil mein socha ke ab aap mera ont mujhe wapas kar dein ge aur mujhe ye baat bahut hi na-pasand thi. Aap ne farmaya: "Tum ont bhi le lo aur is ki qeemat bhi le jao."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةٍ ، فَأَبْطَأَ بِي جَمَلِي وَأَعْيَا ، فَأَتَى عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : جَابِرٌ ؟ فَقُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : مَا شَأْنُكَ ؟ قُلْتُ : أَبْطَأَ عَلَيَّ جَمَلِي ، وَأَعْيَا ، فَتَخَلَّفْتُ ، فَنَزَلَ يَحْجُنُهُ بِمِحْجَنِهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : ارْكَبْ ، فَرَكِبْتُ ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ أَكُفُّهُ عَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : تَزَوَّجْتَ ؟ قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : بِكْرًا أَمْ ثَيِّبًا ، قُلْتُ : بَلْ ثَيِّبًا ، قَالَ : أَفَلَا جَارِيَةً تُلَاعِبُهَا وَتُلَاعِبُكَ ، قُلْتُ : إِنَّ لِي أَخَوَاتٍ فَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَتَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً تَجْمَعُهُنَّ وَتَمْشُطُهُنَّ وَتَقُومُ عَلَيْهِنَّ ، قَالَ : أَمَّا إِنَّكَ قَادِمٌ ، فَإِذَا قَدِمْتَ فَالْكَيْسَ الْكَيْسَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَتَبِيعُ جَمَلَكَ ؟ قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَاشْتَرَاهُ مِنِّي بِأُوقِيَّةٍ ، ثُمَّ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلِي ، وَقَدِمْتُ بِالْغَدَاةِ ، فَجِئْنَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَوَجَدْتُهُ عَلَى بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ ، قَالَ : آلْآنَ قَدِمْتَ ، قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَدَعْ جَمَلَكَ فَادْخُلْ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، فَدَخَلْتُ فَصَلَّيْتُ ، فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا أَنْ يَزِنَ لَهُ أُوقِيَّةً ، فَوَزَنَ لِي بِلَالٌ ، فَأَرْجَحَ لِي فِي الْمِيزَانِ ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ حَتَّى وَلَّيْتُ ، فَقَالَ : ادْعُ لِيجَابِرًا ، قُلْتُ : الْآنَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيَّ الْجَمَلَ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْءٌ أَبْغَضَ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : خُذْ جَمَلَكَ وَلَكَ ثَمَنُهُ .
