Chapter: What is said about markets

باب مَا ذُكِرَ فِي الأَسْوَاقِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 2124
Ibn `Umar said, 'The Prophet also forbade the reselling of foodstuff by somebody who had bought it unless he had received it with exact full measure.'
حضرت ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ اس بات سے منع کرتے تھے کہ غلہ جس وقت خریدا جائے اسی وقت وہیں فروخت کردیا جائے یہاں تک کہ اس پر پوراپورا قبضہ نہ کر لیا جائے۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is baat se mana karte thay ke ghalla jis waqt khareeda jaye isi waqt wahin faroakht kar diya jaye yahan tak ke is par poora poora qabza na kar liya jaye.
قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُبَاعَ الطَّعَامُ إِذَا اشْتَرَاهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ .
