Sahih al-Bukhari 2573
As-Sa'b bin Jath-thama narrated that an onager was presented to Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) at the place called Al-Abwa' or Waddan, but Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rejected it. When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) noticed the signs of sorrow on the giver's face he said, ‘we have not rejected your gift, but we are in the state of Ihram.
حضرت صعب بن جثامہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک گورخر بطور ہدیہ بھیجا جبکہ آپ ابواء یا ودان مقام میں تشریف فرماتھے۔ آپ نے اسے واپس کردیا۔ پھر جب آپ نے اس کے چہرے کار نگ دیکھا تو فرمایا: ’’ہم نے یہ تجھے صرف اس لیے واپس کیا ہے کہ ہم حالت احرام میں ہیں۔‘‘
Hazrat Saab bin Jassama (radiyallahu anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ki khidmat mein ek gor-khar batur hadiya bheja jabke Aap Abwa ya Waddan muqam mein tashreef farma the. Aap ne ise wapis kar diya. Phir jab Aap ne is ke chehre ka rang dekha to farmaya: ''Hum ne ye tujhe sirf is liye wapis kiya hai ke hum halat-e-ihram mein hain.' '
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، أَنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِمَارًا وَحْشِيًّا وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْوَاءِ أَوْ بِوَدَّانَ فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى مَا فِي وَجْهِهِ ، قَالَ : أَمَا إِنَّا لَمْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَيْكَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّا حُرُمٌ .
