Sahih al-Bukhari 2689
Abu Huraira ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘if the people knew what the reward is of making the call (for the prayer) and (of being in) the first row (in the prayer), and if they found no other way to get this privilege except by casting lots, they would certainly cast lots for it. If they knew the reward of the noon prayer, they would race for it, and if they knew the reward of the morning (Fajr) and `Isha prayers, they would present themselves for the prayer even if they had to crawl to reach there.
حضرت ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہےکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’اگر لوگوں کو اذان دینے اور صف اول میں کھڑے ہونے کا ثواب علم ہوجائے تو اس کے حصول کے لیے انھیں قرعہ اندازی بھی کرنی پڑے تو وہ اس کا بھی سہارا لیں۔ اگر انھیں معلوم ہو جائے کہ جلدی بروقت نماز پڑھنے میں کیا ثواب ہے تو ایک دوسرے سے سبقت کرنے لگیں۔ اور اگر انھیں معلوم ہوجائے کہ عشاء اور فجر کی نماز میں کیا ثواب ہے تو ان نمازوں میں ضرور شریک ہوں اگرچہ انھیں گھٹنوں کے بل آنا پڑے۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Agar logon ko azan dene aur saff-e-awwal mein khade hone ka sawab ilm ho jaye to is ke husool ke liye unhein qura-andazi bhi karni pade to woh is ka bhi sahara lein. Agar unhein maloom ho jaye ke jaldi bar-waqt namaz parhne mein kya sawab hai to ek doosre se sabqat karne lagein. Aur agar unhein maloom ho jaye ke Isha aur Fajr ki namaz mein kya sawab hai to in namazon mein zaroor shareek hon agarche unhein ghutno ke bal aana pade.' '
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا عَلَيْهِ لَاسْتَهَمُوا ، وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ لَاسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ ، وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ لَأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا .
