Sahih al-Bukhari 2982
Narrated Salama: Once the journey-food of the people ran short and they were in great need. So, they came to the Prophet to take his permission for slaughtering their camels, and he permitted them. Then `Umar met them and they informed him about it. He said, What will sustain you after your camels (are finished)? Then `Umar went to the Prophet and said, O Allah's Apostle! What will sustain them after their camels (are finished)? Allah's Apostle said, Make an announcement amongst the people that they should bring all their remaining food (to me). (They brought it and) the Prophet invoked Allah and asked for His Blessings for it. Then he asked them to bring their food utensils and the people started filling their food utensils with their hands till they were satisfied. Allah's Apostle then said, I testify that None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I am His Apostle.
حضرت سلمہ ؓسے روایت ہے، انھوں نے بیان کیا کہ ایک مرتبہ دوران سفر میں صحابہ کرام ؓ کا سفری کھانا کم ہو گیا جس سے وہ قلاش ہو گئے۔ انھوں نے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر اونٹ ذبح کرنے کی اجازت طلب کی، آپ نے انھیں اجازت دے دی۔ اتنے میں حضرت عمر ؓ سے ان کی ملاقات ہو گئی تو انھوں نے اس اجازت کی اطلاع انھیں دی۔ انھوں نے فرمایا: ان اونٹوں کے بعد پھر تمھارے پاس کیا باقی رہ جائے گا؟ اس کے بعد حضرت عمر ؓ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول اللہ ﷺ! لوگ اگر اپنے اونٹ ذبح کر دیں تو پھر ان کے پاس باقی کیا رہ جائے گا؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’لوگوں میں اعلان کردو کہ وہ اپنا بچا ہوا زاد سفر میرے پاس لائیں۔‘‘ چنانچہ آپ نے اس پر برکت کی دعا فرمائی۔ پھر آپ نے سب لوگوں کو ان کے برتنوں سمیت بلایا۔ سب نے بھر بھر کر کھانا لیا۔ جب فارغ ہو گئے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کےسوا کوئی معبود بر حق نہیں اور میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں۔‘‘
Hazrat Salamah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne bayan kiya ke ek martaba douran-e-safar mein sahaba-e-karam (Radi Allahu Anhum) ka safari khana kam ho gaya jis se wo qallash ho gaye. Unhon ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar oont zibah karne ki ijazat talab ki, Aap ne inhein ijazat de di. Itne mein Hazrat Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se in ki mulaqat ho gayi to unhon ne is ijazat ki itla inhein di. Unhon ne farmaya: In oonton ke baad phir tumhare paas kya baqi reh jaye ga? Is ke baad Hazrat Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Log agar apne oont zibah kar dein to phir in ke paas baqi kya reh jaye ga? Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Logon mein elan kardo ke wo apna bacha hua zaad-e-safar mere paas layein." Chunanche Aap ne is par barkat ki dua farmai. Phir Aap ne sab logon ko in ke bartanon samet bulaya. Sab ne bhar bhar kar khana liya. Jab farigh ho gaye to Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Mein gawahi deta hoon ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood bar-haq nahi aur mein Allah ka Rasul hoon."
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مَرْحُومٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : خَفَّتْ أَزْوَادُ النَّاسِ ، وَأَمْلَقُوا فَأَتَوْا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَحْرِ إِبِلِهِمْ فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ فَلَقِيَهُمْ عُمَرُ فَأَخْبَرُوهُ ، فَقَالَ : مَا بَقَاؤُكُمْ بَعْدَ إِبِلِكُمْ فَدَخَلَ عُمَرُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا بَقَاؤُهُمْ بَعْدَ إِبِلِهِمْ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : نَادِ فِي النَّاسِ يَأْتُونَ بِفَضْلِ أَزْوَادِهِمْ ، فَدَعَا وَبَرَّكَ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ دَعَاهُمْ بِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْ فَاحْتَثَى النَّاسُ حَتَّى فَرَغُوا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ .
