Sahih al-Bukhari 4139
Jabir bin Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that we took part in the Ghazwa of Najd along with Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and when the time for the afternoon rest approached while he was in a valley with plenty of thorny trees, he dismounted under a tree and rested in its shade and hung his sword (on it). The people dispersed amongst the trees in order to have shade. While we were in this state, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) called us, and we came and found a Bedouin sitting in front of him. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘this Bedouin came to me while I was asleep, and he took my sword stealthily. I woke up while he was standing by my head, holding my sword without its sheath. He said, 'who will save you from me?' I replied, 'Allah.' So, he sheathed the sword and sat down, and here he is.’ But Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) did not punish him.
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ غزوہ نجد میں شریک ہوئے۔ جب آپ کو دوپہر کی گرمی نے پا لیا تو آپ اس وقت بہت خاردار درختوں کی وادی میں تھے، چنانچہ آپ نے ایک گھنے سایہ دار درخت کے نیچے سائے کے لیے قیام کیا اور اپنی تلوار درخت سے لٹکا دی۔ صحابہ ؓ بھی درختوں کے نیچے سایہ حاصل کرنے کے لیے پھیل گئے۔ ابھی ہم اسی کیفیت میں تھے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں آواز دی۔ ہم حاضر ہوئے تو کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ ایک اعرابی جب میرے پاس آیا تو میں سو رہا تھا۔ اس دوران میں اس نے میری تلوار (مجھ پر) سونت لی۔ جب میں بیدار ہوا تو یہ میری ننگی تلوار سونتے ہوئے میرے سر پر کھڑا تھا، کہنے لگے: آپ کو مجھ سے کون بچائے گا؟ میں نے کہا: ’’اللہ۔‘‘ پھر اس نے تلوار نیام میں کر لی اور بیٹھ گیا ور دیکھ لو یہ بیٹھا ہوا ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اسے کوئی سزا نہ دی۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Hum Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hamrah Ghazwa-e-Najd mein shareek huay. Jab Aap ko dopahar ki garmi ne pa liya to Aap is waqt bahut khar-dar darakhton ki wadi mein thay, chunanche Aap ne ek ghanay saya-dar darakht ke nichay saaye ke liye qayam kiya aur apni talwar darakht se latka di. Sahaba (Radiyallahu Anhum) bhi darakhton ke nichay saya hasil karnay ke liye phail gaye. Abhi hum isi kaifiyat mein thay ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne humein aawaz di. Hum hazir huay to kya dekhtay hain ke ek aarabi jab meray paas aaya to main so raha tha. Is dauran mein is ne meri talwar (mujh par) sount li. Jab main bidaar hua to yeh meri nangi talwar sountay huay meray sar par khada tha, kehnay lagay: Aap ko mujh se kaun bachaye ga? Main ne kaha: ''Allah.'' Phir us ne talwar niyam mein kar li aur baith gaya aur dekh lo yeh baitha hua hai. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne usay koi saza na di.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَةَ نَجْدٍ , فَلَمَّا أَدْرَكَتْهُ الْقَائِلَةُ وَهُوَ فِي وَادٍ كَثِيرِ الْعِضَاهِ فَنَزَلَ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ وَاسْتَظَلَّ بِهَا , وَعَلَّقَ سَيْفَهُ فَتَفَرَّقَ النَّاسُ فِي الشَّجَرِ يَسْتَظِلُّونَ , وَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ دَعَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَجِئْنَا فَإِذَا أَعْرَابِيٌّ قَاعِدٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ , فَقَالَ : إِنَّ هَذَا أَتَانِي وَأَنَا نَائِمٌ فَاخْتَرَطَ سَيْفِي , فَاسْتَيْقَظْتُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى رَأْسِي مُخْتَرِطٌ صَلْتًا , قَالَ : مَنْ يَمْنَعُكَ مِنِّي ؟ قُلْتُ : اللَّهُ , فَشَامَهُ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ فَهُوَ هَذَا , قَالَ : وَلَمْ يُعَاقِبْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
