Sahih al-Bukhari 4250
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) appointed Usama bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) as the commander of some people. Those people criticized his leadership. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘if you speak ill of his leadership, you have already spoken ill of his father's leadership before. By Allah, he deserved to be a Commander, and he was one of the most beloved persons to me and now this (Usama) is one of the most beloved persons to me after him.
حضرت ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حضرت اسامہ ؓ کو ایک قوم پر امیر مقرر فرمایا تو کچھ لوگوں نے ان کی امارت کو ہدف تنقید بنایا۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اگر آج تمہیں اس کی امارت پر اعتراض ہے تو تم ہی کچھ دن پہلے اس کے باپ کی امارت پر اعتراض کر چکے ہو۔ اللہ کی قسم! یقینا وہ اس امارت کے اہل اور حق دار تھے اور بلاشبہ وہ مجھے سب سے زیادہ عزیز تھے جس طرح یہ (اسامہ بن زید ؓ) ان کے بعد مجھے سب سے زیادہ عزیز ہے۔"
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Hazrat Usama (Radi Allahu Anhu) ko ek qaum par ameer muqarrar farmaya to kuch logon ne un ki amarat ko hadaf-e-tanqeed banaya. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Agar aaj tumhein is ki amarat par aitraz hai to tum hi kuch din pehle is ke baap ki amarat par aitraz kar chuke ho. Allah ki qasam! yaqinan wo is amarat ke ahl aur haq-dar thay aur bilashuba wo mujhe sab se zyada aziz thay jis tarah yeh (Usama bin Zaid (Radi Allahu Anhu)) un ke baad mujhe sab se zyada aziz hai."
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : أَمَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُسَامَةَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَطَعَنُوا فِي إِمَارَتِهِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنْ تَطْعَنُوا فِي إِمَارَتِهِ فَقَدْ طَعَنْتُمْ فِي إِمَارَةِ أَبِيهِ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ ، وَايْمُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ خَلِيقًا لِلْإِمَارَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ ، وَإِنَّ هَذَا لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ بَعْدَهُ .
