Chapter: The expedition of Mu`tah to the land of Syria

باب غَزْوَةُ مُوتَةَ مِنْ أَرْضِ الشَّأْمِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 4268
Ash Shabi narrated that An-Nu`man bin Bashir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘Abdullah bin Rawaha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) fell down unconscious, and mentioned the above Hadith adding, ‘thereupon, when he died she (his sister) did not weep over him.’
حضرت نعمان بن بشیر ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے کہ جب حضرت عبداللہ بن رواحہ ؓ بے ہوش ہو گئے۔ انہوں نے پہلی حدیث کی طرح بیان کیا۔ پھر جب وہ شہید ہو گئے تو ان کی بہن ان پر نہ روئی۔
Hazrat Nu'man bin Basheer (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai ke jab Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha (Radi Allahu Anhu) be-hosh ho gaye. Unhon ne pehli hadees ki tarah bayan kiya. Phir jab wo shaheed ho gaye to un ki behan un par na royi.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْثَرُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : أُغْمِيَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ بِهَذَا ، فَلَمَّا مَاتَ لَمْ تَبْكِ عَلَيْهِ .
