"Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter (Paradise)... (till) ... and they shall have a painful torment." (V.3 -77)

باب {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً أُولَئِكَ لاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُمْ} لاَ خَيْرَ

Sahih al-Bukhari 4551
Narrated `Abdullah bin Abu `Aufa: A man displayed some merchandise in the market and took an oath that he had been offered a certain price for it while in fact he had not, in order to cheat a man from the Muslims. So then was revealed:-- Verily! Those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths... (3.77)
حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے بازار میں سامان لگایا، پھر قسم اٹھائی کہ اسے اس سامان کے اتنے دام مل رہے تھے، حالانکہ اس شخص کو وہ قیمت نہیں دی گئی تھی۔ اس کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ اس طرح کسی مسلمان کو اپنے دام تزویر میں پھنسائے (اسے ٹھگ لے۔) اس پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی: ﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّـهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا﴾
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Aufa (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke ek aadmi ne bazaar mein saman lagaya, phir qasam uthayi ke ise is saman ke itne daam mil rahe the, halanke us shakhs ko woh qimat nahi di gayi thi. Is ka maqsad yeh tha ke is tarah kisi Musalman ko apne daam-e-tazweer mein phansaye (ise thag le.) Is par yeh ayat nazil hui: {Innallazina yashtaruna bi'ahdillahi wa aimanihim samanan qalila}
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ ، سَمِعَ هُشَيْمًا ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا : أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَقَامَ سِلْعَةً فِي السُّوقِ فَحَلَفَ فِيهَا ، لَقَدْ أَعْطَى بِهَا مَا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ لِيُوقِعَ فِيهَا رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، فَنَزَلَتْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا سورة آل عمران آية 77 إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ .
