Sahih al-Bukhari 474
". Abu Waqid al-Laithi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that while Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was sitting in the mosque (with some people) three men came, two of them came in front of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and the third one went away, and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the second man sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them betook himself to Allah and so Allah accepted him and accommodated him; the second felt shy before Allah so Allah did the same for him and sheltered him in His Mercy (and did not punish him), while the third turned his face from Allah, and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise.
حضرت ابوواقد لیثی سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا: ایک دفعہ رسول اللہ ﷺ مسجد میں تشریف فر تھے کہ تین آدمی آئے۔ ان میں سے دو تو رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس (مسجد میں) آ گئے اور ایک واپس چلا گیا۔ ان دونوں میں سے ایک نے حلقے میں کچھ خالی جگہ دیکھی اور وہاں بیٹھ گیا اور دوسرا تمام لوگوں کے پیچھے جا بیٹھا۔ رہا تیسرا، تو وہ واپس چلا گیا۔ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ فارغ ہو گئے تو فرمایا: ’’میں تمہیں ان تینوں آدمیوں کے متعلق نہ بتاؤں؟ ان میں سے ایک نے اللہ کے قریب جگہ تلاش کی تو اللہ نے اسے جگہ عطا کر دی۔ دوسرا انسان اللہ سے شر گیا تو اللہ نے بھی اس سے شرم کی۔ رہا تیسرا تو اس نے (اللہ تعالیٰ) سے روگردانی کی تو اللہ نے بھی اس سے منہ پھیر لیا۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Waqid Laythi se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Ek dafa Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) masjid mein tashreef farma thay ke teen aadmi aaye. In mein se do to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas (masjid mein) aa gaye aur ek wapas chala gaya. In dono mein se ek ne halqay mein kuch khali jagah dekhi aur wahan baith gaya aur doosra tamam logon ke peeche ja baitha. Raha teesra, to wo wapas chala gaya. Jab Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) farigh ho gaye to farmaya: ''Mein tumhein in teeno admiyon ke mutaliq na bataon? In mein se ek ne Allah ke qareeb jagah talash ki to Allah ne ise jagah ata kar di. Doosra insan Allah se sharma gaya to Allah ne bhi us se sharam ki. Raha teesra to us ne (Allah Ta'ala) se rugardani ki to Allah ne bhi us se munh pher liya.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَأَقْبَلَ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ ، فَأَقْبَلَ اثْنَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَهَبَ وَاحِدٌ ، فَأَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَرَأَى فُرْجَةً فَجَلَسَ ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَجَلَسَ خَلْفَهُمْ ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنِ الثَّلَاثَةِ ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمْ فَأَوَى إِلَى اللَّهِ فَآوَاهُ اللَّهُ ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَاسْتَحْيَا فَاسْتَحْيَا اللَّهُ مِنْهُ ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَأَعْرَضَ فَأَعْرَضَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .
