Sahih al-Bukhari 4799
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, Moses was a shy man, and that is what the Statement of Allah means: 'O you who believe Be not like those who annoyed Moses, but Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged and he was honorable in Allah's Sight.' (33.69)
حضرت ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’بلاشبہ موسٰی ؑ بڑے باحیا انسان تھے۔‘‘ اس کے متعلق اللہ تعالٰی کا یہ ارشاد ہے: ’’اے ایمان والو! ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جانا جنہوں نے حضرت موسٰی ؑ کو ایذا پہنچائی تھی تو اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کو (باعزت) بری کر دیا اس (الزام) سے جو انہوں نے لگایا تھا۔ اور اللہ تعالٰی کے ہاں وہ بڑے معزز تھے۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Bilashuba Musa (Alaihis Salam) bade ba-haya insaan thay.'' Is ke mutalleq Allah Ta'ala ka yeh irshad hai: ''Ae iman walo! In logon ki tarah na ho jaana jinhon ne Hazrat Musa (Alaihis Salam) ko eeza pahunchayi thi to Allah Ta'ala ne un ko (ba-izzat) bari kar diya us (ilzam) se jo unhon ne lagaya tha. Aur Allah Ta'ala ke haan woh bade mu'azzaz thay.''
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، وَمُحَمَّدٍ ، وَخِلَاسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ مُوسَى كَانَ رَجُلًا حَيِيًّا ، وَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسَى فَبَرَّأَهُ اللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا وَكَانَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَجِيهًا سورة الأحزاب آية 69 .
