Sahih al-Bukhari 5031
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘the example of the person who knows the Qur'an by heart is like the owner of tied camels. If he keeps them tied, he will control them, but if he releases them, they will run away.’
سیدنا ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”حافظ قرآن کی مثال رسی سے بندھے ہوئے اونٹ کے مالک جیسی ہے اگروہ اس کی نگرانی کرے گا تو اسے روک سکے گا اور اگر اسے چھوڑ دے گا تو وہ بھاگ جائے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Hafiz-e-Quran ki misal rassi se bandhe hue oont ke malik jaisi hai agar woh is ki nigrani kare ga to ise rok sake ga aur agar ise chhor de ga to woh bhag jaye ga."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ صَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ كَمَثَلِ صَاحِبِ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ ، إِنْ عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهَا أَمْسَكَهَا ، وَإِنْ أَطْلَقَهَا ذَهَبَتْ .
