Sahih al-Bukhari 5081
Urwa narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) for Aisha's (رضي الله تعالى عنها) hand in marriage. Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said ‘but I am your brother.’ The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘you are my brother in Allah's religion and His Book, but she (Aisha) is lawful for me to marry.’
سیدنا عروہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق ؓ کی طرف سیدنا عائشہ ؓ سے نکاح کرنے کا پیغام بھیجا تو انہوں نے عرض کی: ”میں تو آپ کا بھائی ہوں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’تم اللہ کی کتاب کے مطابق میرے دینی بھائی ہو۔ وہ(عائشہ) میرے لیے حلال ہے۔“
Sayyidna Urwa se riwayat hai ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Sayyidna Abu Bakr Siddiq (Radi Allahu Anhu) ki taraf Sayyidna Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se nikah karne ka paigham bheja to unhon ne arz ki: "Main to aap ka bhai hoon." Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Tum Allah ki kitab ke mutabiq mere deeni bhai ho. Woh (Aisha) mere liye halal hai."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عِرَاكٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ عَائِشَةَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : إِنَّمَا أَنَا أَخُوكَ ، فَقَالَ : أَنْتَ أَخِي فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ وَكِتَابِهِ وَهِيَ لِي حَلَالٌ .
