Sahih al-Bukhari 5198
Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘I looked at Paradise and saw that most of its residents were the poor; and I looked at the Hellfire and saw that the majority of its residents were women.’
سیدنا عمران بن حصین ؓ سے روایت ہے، وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”میں نے جنت میں جھانک کر دیکھا تو اس میں اکثریت نادار لوگوں کی تھی۔ پھر میں نے ایک نظر سے دوزخ کو دیکھا تو اس کے اندر رہنے والی اکثر عورتیں تھیں۔“ اس روایت کو ابو رجاء سے بیان کرنے میں ایوب اور سلم بن زریر نے عوف کی متابعت کی ہے۔
Sayyidna Imran bin Husain (radi Allahu anhu) se riwayat hai, woh Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne farmaya: "Mein ne jannat mein jhank kar dekha to is mein aksariyat nadar logon ki thi. Phir mein ne aik nazar se dozakh ko dekha to is ke andar rehne wali aksar aurten theen." Is riwayat ko Abu Raja se bayan karne mein Ayub aur Salam bin Zurair ne Auf ki mutabiat ki hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : اطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ ، وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَ . تَابَعَهُ أَيُّوبُ ، وَسَلْمُ بْنُ زَرِيرٍ .
