Sahih al-Bukhari 5213
Anas (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) narrated that the tradition, (of the Prophet) is that if someone marries a virgin and he has already a matron wife (with him), then he should stay with the virgin for seven days; and if someone marries a matron (and he has already a virgin wife with him) then he should stay with her for three days.
سیدنا انس ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: اگر میں چاہوں تو کہہ سکتا ہوں کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا لیکن انہوں نے کہا: سنت یہ ہے کہ جب آدمی کسی (شوہر دیدہ بیوی کی موجودگی میں) کنواری سے شادی کرے تو اس کے پاس دن گزارے اور جب کنواری کی موجودگی میں شوہر دیدہ سے شادی کرے تو اس کے پاس تین دن رہے۔
Sayyidna Anas (radi Allahu anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Agar mein chahoon to keh sakta hoon ke Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya lekin unhon ne kaha: Sunnat yeh hai ke jab aadmi kisi (shohar deeda biwi ki maujoodgi mein) kanwari se shadi kare to is ke paas din guzare aur jab kanwari ki maujoodgi mein shohar deeda se shadi kare to is ke paas teen din rahe.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، وَلَوْ شِئْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : وَلَكِنْ قَالَ : السُّنَّةُ : إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْبِكْرَ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعًا ، وَإِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الثَّيِّبَ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثًا .
